BGE's are ok, they have their drawbacks like every other cooker. unless you are putting down huge amounts of money the cooking area is small, they are very heavy, they are fragile. I use 2 WSMs 1 18.5" and a 22.5", to do my smoking. I also use 1 22.5 Weber Charcoal grill and a Weber Performer, for grilling. You can definitely do anything you want on a BGE its just not practical for everyone. I don't own a gas grill and never plan too. However I do love my collection of Weber cookers.

Ducane I believe was bought out by Weber a few years back. Weber Charcoal grills are great, I have 2 and 2 of their WSMs. You can't go wrong with Weber, their customer service is second to none in the industry.

Wow, I didnt know this. I never even heard of it. That needs to be enforced. The length of games is getting way too long in my opinion. When the Yankees and Red Sox get together, it last for upwards of 4hrs. I think that is just too long a time for a game to go on. When you take a look back, the length of games has increased, just need to speed the game up.

I do agree with some of your points, like killing Inter-league play and the silly all-star game rule for WS home field advantage. On the other hand however I think the DH should be added to the NL. Who really wants to see pitchers trying to bat? Not me. Make the strike zone a little bigger, which will force the hitters to swing, and force pitchers to pitch faster, a pitch every 20 seconds at least, +3hr games is incredibly way too long.

I just do 2 overhand knots on all of my reels whether they are spinning or baitcasting. I have never had a problem and have never even heard of or considered using tape, that is a new one to me.

I hope the Boston Bruins find a way to win the Cup. However, I am making no predictions, not after that miracle turnaround, in the 3rd period of game 7 in the Boston Toronto series. I have not seen Chicago play much this year, you don't need too, just know they are the best team in the league heading into the playoffs. It hopefully will live up to billing as a great original 6 Stanley Cup Finals, may the best team win, just as long as they bring it back to Causeway St. :respect-059:

I broke one of my spinnerbait rods last weekend. I had an older 6'4" All-Star rod. Well I was looking for a replacement yesterday. My question to you guys is this I see that allot of the rod manufacturers are now making +6'9" sizes. Now I don't need the most sensitive rod for spinnerbaits, that goes without saying. What are you guys throwing for rod lengths and actions? I have liked the 6'2" Castaways and the 6"4" All-Stars, I feel with that length I am pretty accurate with roll casting. Does anyone have the longer +6'9" rods and if so what are your thoughts on them. Thanks for your responses.

Ok since you live by the water you are more than 50% qualified. You could build/install an owl nesting box, they would take care of the problem for you for sure. Also they are pretty cool, at least I think so. If you have bird feeders out they are most likely going after the bird seed, you can stop feeding the birds and the chipmunks would most likely leave on their own. If you do have bird feeders out and you want to continue feeding them, you can add some cayenne pepper to the seed this will deter the chipmunks from eating the seed but will not have any effect on the birds. The other way is if you are feeding them to get a large bucket fill it half way with water and get a small piece of wood and lay some seed on it. Chipmunks will jump to get the seed and fall in the water not able to get out will eventually drown. As you can see I am waging my own war with these F&*k things.
