New Ethanol/Gas Mix
Ok Well as most of you older boat owners know this new ethanol/gas mix is creating havoc for older engines. I just had to have my carb rebuilt my mechanic joking asked "Was I trying to run the engine on jello?" The gas was like the consistency of jelly. So with that in mind is there anything that you members are adding to your gas that will stop or minimize the problem of ethanol in the gas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well feels like Im cheating but got the boat back and was out on Sunday and I took it out again last night after work. Two good outings, look forward to getting out again soon. Sunday was a little slow with bites fished 8-3pm caught 12. Yesterday afternoon was out from 5:30 - 8pm caught 10. Tight lines all.

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
Hey Wagn, appears I had some water in the lines and with the new gas with ethanol in it it turned to what the mechanic referred to as "Jello". So I get her back tomorrow afternoon. Which is going to enable me to get out on Sunday. Yay! That and Im hoping it isnt going to be too expensive. Sent you a PM.

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
That's one hell of a day Pain. What were you using to catch all those fish and what kind of areas were you targeting? did u find a distinct pattern? Hey, Well was pretty windy early on. Was throwing baits to cover allot of water (Crankbaits, Lipless Crankbaits, Spinnerbaits) in the 6-10ft zone on steeper breaks, using shad/baitfish colors. I got about 8 or so off that pattern. After about noon that bite died as well as the heavy wind. It took me a few hrs to find them again. I was using small soft plastics with 1/4oz ball head and or 1/4oz football head. For baits it was basically anything with the main color being black (Grub, Tube, Craw, *). The key to this pattern was finding some chunk rock and or boulders on the sunny side of the lake in 4-6ft. Then just fish them real slow, I easily caught 20-22 on this pattern and dropped another 5 or so and broke off another 5 or so. I was using 8lb fluoro I think that may of had some effect because my partner was using 10lb mono and he only caught 10 all day. I just had issues of setting too hard and breaking off or then not setting hard enough and have them come unbuttoned. Hope this helps guys and tight lines!!!

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
Hey Guys, was out for the first time yesterday on my home waters. We put a hurting on them. I caught 30 yesterday but dropped and broke off a fair amount. I was using 8lb Pline fluoro, which I think was getting me a lil more bites but had a hard time toning down my hookset to just right. The wind was blowing most of the day which made for a decent bite.

12 Or 15 LB P-Line CXX
Well I guess Im an aberration I use 15lb on most of my rods except my jig and worm rods where I use 17lb. On my flipping and swimbait rods I use 20lb. My friends joke at me cause if I could get away with it Id use chains. ;D

Hey all, Just need to pick up 2 new trolling motor batteries and we are good to go. This rainy above freezing weather will go a long way to opening some of our local waters up. Has anyone been able to get out yet? Wagn I would take a good hard look at Highland lake its a lil north of Peterborough but holds some good fish. Always welcome to come back out on my lake.

iMac or not???
I work on Macs a the office and have a Mac at home to surf the web with. However the one thing Macs dont do well is play games and that is the only reason I have a PC box at home is to play video games. TBH my dream machine would be all PC hardware running a Mac osX that was able to play video games. However they arent quite there yet. Mac vs PC make up you own mind this has been going on since about as long as the Red Sox vs Yankees. Mac costs allot more, period. However, if you get a Mac the worry about viruses and spyware is just about non-existant. If you get a third party product to use with a Mac it will work no questions asked, and most of the drivers are already preloaded. Those are the benefits. Also that link that CFF posted is pure a$$hatness.

Lake Winnipesaukee in June
Id suggest Lees Mills. its kinda protected from the big water of the lake so it wont be as rough as the main part of the lake but it does have plenty of good fishing. Hope you have a great time, be sure to post on how you do. Tight llines.
