I dont know if everyone has heard about this as of yet. This is all over the news up here in New England. Read more about it. Boy, 8, shoots himself to death at Mass. gun show I dont own a gun, I am however an advocate for the 2nd amendment. You can only guess what the gun control people up here are saying. I just wanted to get some people's responses non-political and non-offensive of course because I would like to see this thread stay open. My thoughts on the matter is that its a tragic mishap that a child has been killed. I personally dont think I would allow my children to fire an automatic weapon holding it by themselves, especially at that young of an age. On the other side I think with proper safety training someone that young can safely use and shoot a firearm.

I agree with you RW. We need some new energy ideas and get this country off of its addiction to foreign oil. The problem how I see it is this. There are far too many important people in this country poised too make far too much money, period end of story.

The rays have been terrible for quite some time. It was so bad for so long that those of us in Red Sox Nation would call Tropicana Field "Fenway South". Sox I hope are looking at that Peavey trade. and maybe Texeria if Lowell is going to have continuing health problems.

Great boat althought I would tend to lean away from Yamaha engines. If your going to get a 2stroke I would look at Mercury if a 4 stroke Id look at a Honda. Just my preferences, hope this helps and good luck on your new rig!

Muddy I have found if you purchase the felt battery terminal cleaner/protectors shown here. They can be found at any decent auto parts stores in your area and here they are about $2. Clean off your terminals and connectors and slide these on and tight down connectors to the terminals and they work real well hope this helps.

I was thinking the same thing. I have 5qts of new oil in there so that should be enough. Although the pump ball isnt tight making me think its not holding pressure.

Hey Guys I have a few questions. 1 I have a 1994 60hp Johnson, this last time out it was giving me an audible alarm, from teh throttle box. Its not a constant Beeeeeeeeeeep, thast for overheating I am guessing. The alarm I am getting is a beep followed by 2 seconds or so of quiet followed by another beep. Only thing I can think of is it maybe my oil pump is dieing any help would be great.

Muddy, first Im not on the side of rich owners. Secondly the current ownership came into town around 2002. Take Johnny Damon he said he wanted to stay, Red Sox didnt have a big enough contract on the table and he went to the NYYs. I dont hvae any hard feelings towards him. Yea it would have been nice for him to stay, but if you can make more money somewhere else fine. Sure I dislike when that type of thing happens. The thing with Manny was this. Follow along because not allot of people understand this. Manny signed a 8yr contract with 2 option yrs held by the Red Sox, when he was a free agent. Now in 2005 or 2006 I cant remember he was complaining and said he wanted to leave. The Red Sox put him on waivers and not one team wanted to take him and his $20mil a yr contract. So 2008 rolls around this is the last year of his 8yr $160mil contract. The Red Sox have 2 option yrs now. Manny also changed agents this year his new agent Scot Boras, would not have made any monies if Manny played out this year and the Red Sox picked up the 1st option year for 2009, nor would he of had any earnings if the Red Sox picked up the 2nd option year for 2010. What Manny and his agent Scott Boras wanted was a new contract for 3-4yrs in the $80-100million area. That would be the only way Boras would stand to earn any money off of this. So when the Red Sox didnt feel they needed to negotiate a new contract because they held option years, Manny didnt like it and played cry baby. The last trip to Anahiem he told teammates he wasnt going to Seattle and would be back in Boston to wait for the KC series. This is after pushing the teams player assistant to the ground after he couldnt fill Manny's request to get 16 tickets for a sold out Texas Rangers game the day before the game. Now that players assistant is a retired 65yr old police officer that Manny pushed to the ground, almost twice Mannys age. Then he just started to quit playing, thats what I have a problem with. If it were me I would have stuck him in the minors and let him rot down there.

Its only one game but you do have to feel pretty confident that you have Matsuzaka and Beckett pitching the next 2 games.
