  1. Ugh. That just isnt a good deal no matter how you look at it. Tough when it happens just glad nobody was seriously hurt. What a beautiful dog you have there though or should I say "fishing partner"?
  2. Congratulations!!! I hope you make the best out of this major opportunity you have ahead of you.
  3. Its a necessary evil when it comes to fishing in a boat. I just found some spots of rust on my truck from all the salt they use up here on the roads. Not to sure what I am gonna do about that. You have to think of it this way it will cost you allot less to get that stuff fixed now than ignore it and have something huge go wrong and even have someone get hurt.
  4. I believe your right muddy. It seems whenever the ice does melt its gonna melt real fast. I mean I still have snow in my yard and they are forecasting a dusting tonight too. My current conditions at the time of this post:
  5. Sox win 6-5 in the 10th!!! What a season opener!!! Go Sox!!!
  6. Watch it telecaster unless you live in Newton NH, thats a Public Launch but parking along the road is for Newton NH residents only, I have recieved a $20 ticket for that. Things are melting slowly or not at all over here by Cobbets and Canobie. I was up in Nashua and the Nashua River is out, although I never do well there early or late. It certainly looks like a April ice out for my lake. How are things by you guys?
  7. One of my spring time fishing holes that I go too after work is now mostly out. I have tried in the past but I dont catch anything in there until after the other lakes in the area ice out completely. SO Cobbets and Canobie are still very much iced in. I dont see it thawing out any time fast with temps just getting into the low 40s and falling back into the 20s. I stand by my statement of ice out will happen in April for most of NH, unless we get a real fast warmup. Its not far away guys lets all think warm thoughts and here is to Ice Out!!!
  8. Southern NH and NorthEastern Mass still very much Iced in. Its looking like a good 2 weeks before we are good to go. Considering its snowing as I type this... > :'(
  9. I religeously throw the 1/2oz 1 colorado blade terminator titanium spinner bait with a black or black and blue skirt. Pure money I have boated 5 bass on consecutive casts off of 1 dock, my partner was not happy.
  10. NIce rig Redline Robert. Will have to say that a assboat really does make the best tackle box. ;D
  11. :'( Yea its usually ice out March/April. I was hoping for an early go at it but it doesnt look good. Neither does the forecast for a cooling trend and maybe a possible snow flurry as well this week. We need some warmer days, but its just not looking good. Im guessing its probably gonna be a late start this year. April 5th or 12th Im guessing for ice out up here.
  12. The wait continues. I went by my home waters this AM and well there is a 2-3ft band of this ice around the perimeter of the lake it looks like but the middle is still socked in thick with ice. It looks ike we might be starting the season in NH in April. :'( > > :'(
  13. I maybe just being ignorant but I think BassBets 1 2 3 are pretty much the gold standard. I personally dont really know of any others....
  14. Thats one mental image and seat I could do without.... ;D ;D
  15. Well yet again I count my lucky stars gas has risen here, to approx $3.10/gal. My home lake is just down the street and when I mean just down the street I can see it out my window(not water front but water view). Its a small +200 acre lake that has no public access and is loaded with fish. I see myself fishing this allot more this year than years past, just to save on gas.
  16. Great pics, Great story, Great day! Congrats on the new PB!!!

Wow the length of a receipt is what drives you to a rant. Might want to look into relieving some stress... :
  18. I think you need to find a girlfirend... : : :
  19. Was $3.05 when I filled up yesterday, but thats the cheapest by far that I have seen.
  20. Was about to say the same thing...
  21. Just hand me a plane ticket, seats behind the dugout(or anywhere...I'm not that picky, hell I'm at Fenway), and a place to stay. When do I leave? You save for the plane ticket, I will buy the tickets to the most expenive park in baseball and a place to stay. You got that right Tin, I dont bother going to games anymore because the prices are so unbelievably high. I mean ticket prices are high then try finding a parking space for under $50. Id just rather stay home get comfortable and listen to Don and Rem-Dawg call the game and not pay almost $20 for a beer and a hot dog.
  22. With this warmer weather and loads of rain I am sure that the ice is melting. If anyone sees any open water be sure to call it out. Good luck and come on spring!
  23. If anyone doesnt think that there are DD bass in NH, Ma, and Mi they are sadly mistaken. They are rare for the simple fact they are hard to catch and that it takes so incredibly long for a bass to grow that big up here in this colder environment than in warmer waters. I have good notion to believe that actually most healthy +100-200 acre ponds/lakes have DD bass in them in these areas.
  24. Nice fish man. Im so jealous.
  25. Levis 569s, I cant stand tight fitting clothing.
