Less than 8 mins into the season, and now its all changed for us Patriots fans. I just sat over friends couch with a very ill sinking feeling in the stomach. What was a hopeful march back to the SB. Now becomes a battle to secure the AFC East Div title. Well here is to Matt Cassell for leading them to a hard fought win. Lets hope he can do it again next week.

Hey all, I have been real busy and have had barely anytime for fishing. I however got out on the lake this past Sunday. I had a great day. I fished from 8-5. Between my fishing partner and I we probably caught close to 50 bass. most were in the 2lb average range. Only thin I tried that I didnt get bite on was top water, even thought they were busting on bait fish all morning long. Worms, jigs, soft plastics all were working their magic. Hope all of you are having some good luck. Tight lines everyone.

Game Wardens in NH are a rare thing I have been fishing seriously for about 15yrs. I have been checked for a fishing license 4-5 times in that time. Once I wasnt even fishing or had my boat in the water. He just asked to see my fishing lic. as I was taking the GF out for a boat ride on the lake, at the launch. All f my interactions with the game wardens have been positive and had no problems. My grief is usually with the "Barney Fife" Marine Patrol Officers.

Oh Muddy Manny's antics and the Yankees media in NYC would give Joe Girardi a migrane within the first week, easily. He has great numbers in recent years they have taken a bit of a slide. He opts out of games where the opposing pitcher is a hard throwing fastball pitcher. The last straw for me has been his lack of effort, quitting on his team. The icing on the cake has been his 2 shots against the Red Sox in consecutive days. Get him out of here!

Hey all, Nice fish Wagn, well yet again real life has been putting a big damper on my fishing time I need to fix that problem. Anyway got out this past Sunday for a few hours for some dreadful fishing on Horseshoe pond. we were on the water from 8-12:30 and I got 1 fish about 9inches long, pathetic. My fishing partner went skunked. Saw some huge carp I thought I could put a saddle on and ride around the lake. Better luck next time out. Hope you guys are catching them better than I have been lately. I just havent been getting time out on the water.

hey fellow NH fishing freaks, was great to get out on the water again. I had a great day out on the water. It also marks that my favorite type of fishing season has started. Frog Fishing! Nice to see everyone is getting out there and sticking some pigs. I might try and get out tonight for some night fishing if the weather is ok. Tight lines all...

Gah!!! I havent been out in my boat in over a month! Im getting the jitters and the shakes. I plan to get out this weekend. Life has been getting in the way with getting some fishing time in. I really need to get out and stick some fish.

What do you propose? Government intervention? I can honestly say that I am not informed enough to have an end all solution to this problem. It would have been nice back in the 1970s for the government to start a rigid plan to ween the US economy off of oil, but thats hind sight. My opinion is allot of these recent increases are because of a weak dollar and that investors are betting on it to stay weak and speculating that oil prices will remain high, since oil is a commodity this kind of thing happens. I do know for a fact that if the price of oil stays where it is this coming winter there will be allot of people who will be going cold this winter, in the northern half of the country.

Id say save your money and just get a zara spook. Then take the money you saved and get a lc pointer, but thats just my 2 cents.

I have said it before and I will say it again. My view is that painfully nothing will get done or happen, any time soon. Why? Because in my opinion there is far too much money to be made by far too many important people.

Had a real tough day on Canobie on Sunday. We caught 3 real early and the bite seemed to elude us the rest of the day. We saw dozens and dozens of beds, but no bass were on them or in the area. We got our 3 fish up shallow. Water temps were 56°F Im guessing they havent made it up there yet to stick on the beds.

It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy . . . the first no-hitter of the season. That's one heck of a story. Another guy from the farm-team throws a no hitter. 8-) Lester with the No No. The Tek has now caught a MLB History record 4 No Nos, what a testament to one of the best catchers in the game. Just heard that Clay Buckhowltz was placed on the 15 day DL with a broken finger nail on his pitching hand. I know they did this so they could call up some outfielders cause the Red Sox had their infielder playing Right Field last night. Seriously though 15 days on a DL for a broken finger nail. Would hate to see these guys play on a NFL or NHL team.
