this is a simple question , do you flip the fish you catch or reel it in? and is one better than other ,i should say safer? your opinion?

do just arriving at the body of the water you get to,do you wait before getting a line out? or get right at it? and does that mean catching more fish? how so? and i heard of this, if you can see a bass it can see you also ,but does that mean it won't necessarily strike your bait ,does it? why? your opinion?

i use a shimano spirex 4000re reel ,now the button on spool came off,yeh still works great ,but cant get the spool off to replace it with the spare one , any ideas? that spare has the button on the spool.

found a new pond , now and has good structure,weeds too, i caught 3 bass there and missed a few,but i was along the bank and edge where there's heavy weeds,grass,moss mix ,and in that there's some nice size bass, but how to get them out of there is a problem . the bass i did catch were say 15s and were caught in the middle on the edge of a small weed bed ,so want to get inside that major weed bed and get the bigger bass , but they won't come out of there to hit my lure , any suggestions

in my opinion, just go and experiment, you'll find the formula to that pond,

we all own the newer tackle and gear, but how bout the older tackle and gear, and if so is it not that old yet to be considered antique tackle yet, or antique gear ? and do you own any? i'm sure there's some out there. just wondering.

two bodies of water ,but only difference is depth ,one 5ft, 2nd is 6ft , both same size also ,now would you catch more and bigger from the 6ft one,or less and smaller from the 5ft one,just cause of one ft of water ? or be the same , i think 1ft of water makes a difference, deeper water bigger fish, what's your thoughts , if deeper water bigger fish or not? shallow has big fish too, don't get me wrong,

when you started out fishing and it's dead as could be, and don't quit mind you ,but then all of a sudden it just explode's and can't figure out what's happened or how this happening come in your mind . all day no bites, then more then you didn't think possible just did, adding to it, just seemed no matter what you used either just worked, as far as lures go. i haven't had that happen in a while ,but has happened too.

just seeing how you approach your time out fishing and have a routine that you go by or not , mine i'll start with a top water , then any plastic setup ,then spinner bait, not always but most the time, bout 85 % that how i go with a day out fishing , now do you or not? and how do you do it? i know some use all their tackle too, is it a random pick ,maybe? i couldn't say , just asking.

Well this came to me about what do the fish see , and we the person fishing think's the fish see's . we all have a tackle box with a variety of lures in different sizes and color's, now getting on the color topic which i find a good one. when we choose whatever color it maybe and put it out in the water, are we sure that the fish see the color of the lure or a just a object,form,etc... now not sure on the answer because , during the day you'd think the fish would see the form of whatever color you use , but how bout the night time ? there's quite the difference , and less you can see if your that fish . now somehow i was taught to use a darker color at night ,which i do and not gonna change either , and when the moon's out, it has it's effect too, but how bout when there's no moon and well pitch black out , sure we have lights but for us to see not the fish,and if the fish would see it , but what about the color seeing situation ? using a dark color at night ,no moon it's a camouflage scenario for that fish,

just a good topic name i think, and this is all on opinions , so here we have all new lines out there and the mono also , so whatever you use is ok either way . but all the new lines think they do better than mono and i wouldn't be so sure . you can think what you want ,but this came to mind now that i'm thinking bout it, the new lines out there have won tournaments i'm sure and so has mono as well ,but standing by mono as i do and will always, i look at mono as david and the new lines as goliath and we know what happened there, this like i said is opinions only ,nothing bad, how many tournaments has the new lines won? and how many tournaments has mono? or do we know? they both work and both do their job . just my opinion,you can say what you will on this and i'll back my mono!

i'm not sure on this call, but was wondering if they do have men/women in same tournaments or not ? if they don't then why not ? this is a equal rights and such country, last time i checked it was .just curious , the last time i seen tv shows it was all men.

Fictional topic , but interesting as well , we all have a way we are fishing now, and we have are tackle boxes with our assortment of lures as well ,we also or should have a go to lure that stands out for each of us, a best ,favorite,whatever lure ,but what would you do if lets say it wasn't ,then what would you do ?could you still do as good without your#1lure ? mine the plastic worm, couldn't ! no way , that's my scenario,what's yours ? this is all fake and know wouldn't happen, but if it was to happen. your#1 gone ,your fishing stay the same or go downhill?

This probably depends on where you live too, but every state has limits as far as how many bass you can keep, like here it's 5,now with that being said and fishing as i do around here,i haven't caught that limit yet of keepers yet this year . i don't know it that's where you live and is a problem either , like i said where you live might have something to do with that ,dont know . sure i get some small ones but not the 15inch+ sizes needed for here ,i know that's how states keep their bass population's in good order,but not once this year have i gotten a full quota . every now and then maybe 3 but not 5, has this happened to you? and yeh i know we fish for sport, relaxation etc.. but just curious , thnx.

This has to do with i guess you'd say second market tackle, I know there's bait, lines ,rods,etc.. but i have both the top brands and second market tackle too, when it comes down to it i can't tell if any difference . cause at first your not sure, but one can't tell till used either. we all get the top brands sure cause they've made a name for themselves, like for instance trilene as far as lines go , i use bp mono now and used to use trilene, not saying what you have is bad either , but found this and other tackle that starting as a small time player, a big time hit. just like the rest of the second hand tackle as well. so do you have second market tackle and does it do just as well as your top market tackle? or just have top tackle and that's it ? lets say i recruited this tackle and it just went basic training and it made it.
