Good gesture on their part, not a lot of places are that accommodating these days.

I don't see a difference in the quality or quantity of fish between front and back of the boat, but I do have issues when the guy in the front is moving the boat all over creation with no regards for the guy on the back. My father pulls that crap with me all the time, so now he is in the back and I fish from the front.

I have a rod in the water as soon as humanly possible when I get to a fishing spot, but that may just be me.
