Your Significant Other Fish?
My wife doesn't fish which is probably for the best. She has her "things" and I have mine, keeps us both sane and gives us some time away from eachother.

Financing Options For A Used Boat
If you have a house you could do a home equity loan which is normally a descent interest rate.

Best Fluorocarbon For The Money?
The Bass Pro XPS is pretty good with no issues using it yet. I have also had good success with the Berkley Vanish FC line, though it is a bit more than the XPS stuff.

I fish with a KVD 2.5 pretty much all year long and it produces, working on LMB, SMB and pickerel.

Need Some Life & Career Advice
If you aren't going to college with a purpose in mind, and by purpose I mean a well thought out career choice with end goals in sight don't bother. You can make a lot of money with or without a college education, just depends on how hard you want to work for it. You have some amount of skill now as a young machine operator, why not try and build on that with trade school. Broaden your skill set within your own industry as a starting point to make a transition to college a more feasible transition; welding, programming, CAD, or some other engineering modeling software (Pro-E or Solidworks) would all be good choices. The more skills you have the harder it is to let you go, and the easier it is to pay you more and give you more responsibility (which = more $$$).

A Tough Dilemma
Research what you got to school for and maybe try to align your education with something that can be used in the fishing industry. Mechanical engineering or something that you could get involved with motor design/boat design, Plastics or Polymer engineering for fishing product design and manufacturing, this one is closest to my heart as I am a plastics engineer (not in the fishing industry). Even an electrical engineer to work on the fish finders, sonar, gps, and mapping software. There are other ways to be involved in the world of fishing besides being a Pro, which as others have said is a difficult path to follow with most failing to achieve their goals.

My Truck's Fishing Setup
Do you use anything in the front part of the truck to keep the rod tips up, or is the rod holder in the back sufficient? Edit - Nice set-up by the way!

Kvd Line And Lure Conditioner
Will you get the same effects of the conditioner if you just spray it on the line while already on the reel versus the cloth method while spooling a reel?

Lures /tackle We Haven't Used Yet To This Day
I have gotten some stuff from buying lots of fishing gear on Ebay that someone is selling that I haven't used. For example an A-rig - I don't have the correct gear to throw this, it will break my current rods due to the size and weight.

Bps Xps Floro
I use the stuff without issue on one of my baitcasters, 14lb test.

How Many Languages Can You Speak?
English here, but I work with some very talented people who learn and speak multiple languages. I tried to learn another language but just didn't have the drive to really go full force with it and ended up just wasting my time because if you don't use it you lose it.

2 Questions.
Another tip: Either way you need to get a good solid belt and a quality holster molded/fit to the gun you are carrying. None of this **** off the shelf that fits 10 different guns ok, you want the holster to secure the gun and have it is the same position at all times so if needed it is always where you expect it.

New Ccw Weapon
I got a Shield a while back myself and enjoy how small it really is. Easy to conceal, good ergonomics, lots of available mags, and accessories are abundant.

2 Questions.
Caliber is strictly choice; some like having more ammo at their disposal with a 9mm, while others like the "knock down power" of the larger 45. Buy and shoot whatever you end up with, all the extra ammo and stopping power is useless if you can hit what you are aiming at. I just told my wife I am buying this and went and got it, but my situation may be different than yours.

Any Pickerel Fishers?
I catch them a lot as well though unintentionally, they seem to be in every river/lake/pond in Massachusetts. My only gripe with them is that they destroy lures when they hit them; paint chips, torn skirts, etc. Other than that a fish caught is a fish caught, and given the size of some of them around here the fight can be pretty good.

Hooked Myself
Knock on wood I haven't been hooked yet, but I would venture to guess that it is only a matter of time before I do.

How Long Until You Change Baits?
I tend to work a couple spots with a bait before I make a change, so maybe 20 to 30 mins on average.

Sales Associates At Cabela's And Bass Pro Shops
This is a spot on response. People need to chill out and take it for what it is; I am certainly no expert in fishing and will ask questions when I don't know while at the store. It is the responsibility of the consumer to take in the information that is given and make informed decisions, if something smells fishy then take it with a grain of salt and do more research on your own, this is not Bass Pro Shops problem, it is yours. Don't put a kid down for now knowing or even one of the more "seasoned" guys working in the store. Everyone needs a job, but what they don't need is some ****** bag on his high horse cutting them down for insignificant bullcrap to make themselves feel good or because they didn't get the instant gratification they desired. *Edit - The above assumes that the employee is respectful and helpful in trying to assist you. One thing that I do get a little peeved about it are inattentive and rude sales associates. If they don't know the answer to a questions that fine, but I am sure that they are able to find someone who can better assist you. That relates to stock, inventory and product locations more than whats the best lure for X fishing.

Your Pb, How Long Ago, How Big,kept Or Release
I just started fishing so my best has only been about a 3lber. On a jig in mid-morning. I release everything back, don't want to reduce the population at all. Get them back in the water to grow some more for next year.

10 Lbers ?
I have seen some photos of 7's through 9's in MA and NH, but never heard of a 10+lber being caught anywhere in New England.

Is It Complete?
Its less about my fishing box being incomplete, but rather my fishing repertoire. The more I learn the more tackle I will collect, however as my techniques are fine-tuned I will be able to pare down to stuff that I need to be effective, and eliminate some of the clutter. I have been really working in jigging lately so I am starting to buy up a bunch of that stuff, and as I find what works I will either retire or sell of the stuff that doesn't work for me or the lakes that I fish. I am sure that in the end I will end up with a trunk full of stuff and use 2% of it.
