  1. I just hang mine on a rack. But then again, I only take 4 or 5 to the water with me, depending on the day. They hang nicely in my little bag by themselves. No need for a box. But thats just me.
  2. For $60-$80 Hehehe....Okaaay.
  3. Well it is certainly not my place to impose my perspective onto someone else, and tell you how to do things. But I certainly do get a good chuckle out of reading the way that you all rationalize things like this. hehehe
  4. Well, as I said...cant relate. I either wear, tennis shoes, or sandals, and that suffices just fine. If Im worried about my feet being both wet and cold, then I opt for something water proof. But this is seldom.
  5. Black/Blue
  6. Most definitely cant relate to paying $60-$80 for something like this.

    Umm.....I didnt ask a question.
  8. Cant relate......Cant even wrap my head around the idea of separate, special footwear, just for fishing.
  9. Well...bought the other reel, and tacked on 3 additional crankbaits to it. Lews LFS 6.8 Fat Free Shad 6th Sense 250MD Rapala DT somethinerother.
  10. Just FYI, For all the Wiggle Warts fans out there. I just stumbled across on the internet, that Brad's Wigglers are lures that are Wart replicas that claim to run the same as the original Pre-Rapala Wiggle Warts. First time Ive seen it.
  11. I still use them. I dress the gold, red/white, and chrome with a white grub. And I dress the 5-diamonds one with a flor. orange grub.
  12. I can believe it. That's certainly not a far stretch of the imagination.
  13. Agreed, The size of the fish, for me, is an important factor in my tackle-buying, and represents the return on my investment. but that's just me.

    Got a trailer on it?
  15. Lately Ive been eyeballing the 250 MD. Looks like it has the same body shape and body size, as a SK 2.5 squarebill. I kinda like that.

Agreed....which is kind of why Im trying to keep this discussion somewhat, tackle-generic.

Nonetheless, as has been mentioned above... It makes the most sense to me, that "weedless," simply refers to a bait with a protected hook point. Nothing more nothing less.

This right here, is partly what prompted my question... For instance, many folks seem to feel that a chatterbait is weedless to some level. But I highly disagree, since the weeds can very quickly foul up the blade action. Which would also occur on most other types of mechanical baits. Sure if a "weedless" bait doesnt get hung up and lost, then thats fine. But, if the weeds foul up the effective action of that "weedless" bait, rendering it dead-useless for the moment, then I would be inclined to disagree that the bait is weedless at all. In retrospect, if you toss a 'weedless' bait into the slop, and you bring it back in with a somewhat substantial amount of, slop, piled onto the head & weedguard of that bait, then I would not be understanding the 'weedlessness' of of a bait in general. So then, I am probably thinking about all of this in the wrong way.

Honestly, what is the actual definition of "weedless?" Does it mean that baits wont get hung up in the weeds and lost? Orrrr.....Does it mean that the baits slip through the weeds, without collecting a bunch, and come out clean, without having to pull much weeds off of it?
  20. Go. Mine are.. > Bomber > Rapala > Strike King
  21. Understood, but alas, you still just have to follow what the fish are responding to. If theyre not feeling a spinnerbait, then theyre not feelin it. There may not be anything that you can do differently with it, on that particular day. Theyll like them better on another day.
  22. Try jerkbait and worms.
  23. Honestly, if I want to use a skirted bait, that has a trailer, and puts out flash and vibration.....then I'll usually turn to a chatterbait.
  24. For adding bulk, I'll typically just add on a second skirt, or use a longer skirt.
