  1. Because its pretty. And since its pink, the larger females go for it.
  2. Large price tags on 'conventional' lures, for me, are Heron repellent. I can understand if the bait is a large size, or is something fairly unique. But, a $25 bait in favor of a $6 bait, of the same type? - no way. But my perspective is probably unique, in that It depends not what I value my tackle at, but instead, what I value the fish at. And the average Largemouth Bass, as a species, by my reckoning, is not worth the use of a $25+ bait. Not unless maybe...youre getting into some exceptionally larger fish. But thats just me.
  3. Receiving gift cards...thats about it.
  4. I just hang mine on a rack.
  5. Does anyone else put two skirts on their Spinnerbaits n such?
  6. I ate one in clear water once - seemed to work fine.
  7. Im aware of this.....however today, they are strikingly unavailable.
  8. Yeah, No thanks.
  9. Thanks Tom, I appreciate you looking...but the "clown" colors were not what I had in mind. Im sure theyre fine, but Im looking for Red & bone White.
  10. Im looking for a crankbait type lure with a simple red & white paint job. Im not finding it. Do they not make these anymore?
  11. +2 The price sucks....but yeah...very cool bait.

This sounds like a good time to use a Mega Daddy

Wait.....No more giant bass? why is that?
  16. Hah...well I gotta get me a skirt making tool first. But Im already thinking about colors, like maybe a green pumpkin lizard with a pinkish/redish neck skirt.
  17. Thread them directly onto a screw-lock swimbait hook, for a snagless swim jig.

Water current would probably roll it over to much.

Ok Im having a thought... Ive been thinking about the presentation of slowly crawling a jig/craw across the bottom. And Im wondering...how it would go, if I put together a similar presentation on either a carolina rig, or a weighted swimbait hook - with the use of a punch skirt. Hmmm.... It may need some tweaking, but I think Im gonna try that this year.
  20. Well...thats for the bigger bites
  21. I just pulled out a Trick Worm from a new pack today, and this one worm is a half-inch longer than the other worms in the same pack. Im not really sure how this could happen without it being from a different mold all together. Strange.
  22. Try some Fits. Fits are really good for pitching, especially the larger sized ones.
