  1. Made this one today while cruising the 4sale section of ***
  2. Found a frog bite in May. Weighed the biggest bag I ever have in a tournament, won it, and won big fish. Also broke my PB pike and crappie all in the same weekend.
  3. I figured a lot of boaters would feel that way, that's why I've always tried to stick to a less cumbersome set up as I fish a fair amount of draw tournaments.
  4. Spring has finally sprung here in Montana! And though cold, the fish are hungry!
  5. Is it one of these two?
  6. I've fished 1-2 tournaments a year for quite a while now, but this year I've decided to go all-in now that I have the time and money, and fish every one I can afford to get to. After my first tourney of the year, my bag that holds my terminal tackle and soft plastic finally broke irreversibly, and I'm looking for how other co anglers effectively carry all of their tackle. I currently have two separate bags. One for hard baits and wire baits, and the second for soft plastics and terminal tackle like I mentioned above. I'm curious what systems/combinations of bags, backpacks, binders etc. that people have found efficient carrying enough tackle for avidly fishing as a co-angler?
  7. Not sure if I'll go next year or not. Going to Knoxville had multiple benefits for me being that I'm favoring the possibility of moving there fairly soon. Traveling to Alabama is probably out of the question for next year. I'll likely save my money for upcoming tournaments that year provided I qualify for my state teams.
  8. Breakfast with everyone was a blast! Day 1 I got to sit in the splashwell right next to the stage (pictures to follow.) Spent a pile of money on new baits and a new reel. Watched Tommy Biffle square off with Brian Snowden in a flippin contest. Met Hunter Shryock, Former Vikimgs defensive end Brian Robison, John Cox, Karl Von Dibble, and Hank Cherry. Also watched Larry Dahlberg on the bass tank talk about the whopper popper. @TnRiver46 and I had the strangest convo with a weird dude from the Livingston booth about the Keith Poche/Ish conflict and a lot of other drama Also was absolutely smitten by this cutie who worked for the TVA biology team at their fish tank and had a long conversation with her about fish (had I lived here I would have had to have asked for her number.) Not to mention I've had the best fishing guide in TN for the whole trip! Also, @kbeeb374 came down from New York and put on a jig flipping clinic yesterday.
  9. Now Ott just needs a limit to blow everything up!
  10. Anyone else waiting in line for the expo?
  11. Fishing with you guys has been a blast. If anyone else has the chance to I highly recommend it! I'm quickly falling in love with this state!
  12. Made it to TN! Super excited to meet everyone and get my line wet.
  13. Anyone who wants to meet up for fishing before/after the classic should message me so we can exchange info and further coordinate away from this thread.
  14. Pencil me in for Breakfast as well!
  15. We should do beer and food, then the expo, then the weigh in! Then fishing afterwards.
  16. Depends on where you want to meet. I'm planning on fishing Cherokee. Douglas, Norris, and Loudon, but in no particular order. I leave next Friday and with a 3 day drive I should be fishing by Monday. I also plan to fish the little pigeon and Abrahms Creek in the park the week after the classic. My schedule is flexible. Just let me know when works for you!
  17. Nine pipes is a great start, adjacent to it is Pablo and Kickinghorse which are also both incredible. Flathead lake's southern end is packed with Smallmouth. Further north are tons of good lakes including Blanchard, Echo, Abbott, the Flathead river sloughs. The Thompson chain northwest of Whitefish.
  18. I'm all in and will happily supply boat gas if warranted. This trip is mostly about me checking out East TN as a possible place to move so I will be exploring and fishing down there for two weeks starting March 12th and will stay through the classic.
  19. My best advice is to figure out what the seasonal pattern is and follow the females. Once you notice the amount of larger spawning fish declining in numbers, start moving out onto the primary and secondary points to find where they are setting up for post spawn. You can still do this from shore by cast and dragging something along the bottom to the break lines and prominent weed edges in deeper water. A portable fish finder would probably help you with this a lot as well.
  20. The fact that they keep mentioning bicycles would be the first and only red flag needed to say NO. So, why should you buy from us? 1. Price is very competitive, because we directly cooperate with bicycle distributors from all over the world. 2. Fast delivery only 6 - 8 Business days to worldwide. 3. give 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. 4. give 10% discount for all fishing and equipment. 5. all fishing equipment have official warranty 1-5 years depending on the brands."
  21. I've started to notice how many familiar faces I'm recognizing from 3+ years of FLW Fantasy Fishing. Here's the two rosters I'm mulling over A: Drew Benton or Matt Arey B: Jeff (gussy) Gustafson or Seth Feider C: Brandon Lester or Chris Johnston D. Kyle Monti or Chad Morgenthaler E: Clark Wendlandt or Caleb Sumrall

  23. It shouldn't be too bad. I like have elite series events closer together. Especially considering FLW did away with their Fantasy Fishing.
  24. Thanks for the feedback. Corrected! I'll have another one finished today.
