  2. Had it happen to me. Seems like all micro guides do this, I wish they would figure this out. It is a pain in my side.
  3. I have a clarus with the old im7 graphite and love it. Got it on sale for $50 before they stopped carrying it.
  4. From what I have heard lately 13 has been having problems with their blanks breaking. I cannot personally attest to that, just passing along what the pro shop guys were talking about.
  5. I checked out the keitech and got a pack. I really like their action. Holding out on the jigs till I find some. Thanks for all the help.
  6. Definately during this time of year. My favorite is an xcalibur lipless crank with a rattle, one of my "go-to" baits.
  7. Hey all, Just was wondering what your go to swimbaits or swimjigs were. What works for different water conditions. What do you all recomend to buy. Thanks in advance!
  8. Well we all know that what we have is never enough!
  9. I would be careful of the microsguides. The microguides are a crude eye with a polished inner liner many times the tip loses its liner so the the line is riding on bare metal. Very problematic it has happened to myself. I put braid on the reel and continue to use it as the braid does not wear from riding on the bare metal. Tight lines!
  10. 3/0 ewg for mostly everything no problems yet
  11. Wow thanks for all the help and tips. I didn't think I would get this much response. Thank you!
  12. Thanks for the tips. I will definately do that. I got the heddon super spook, is that the original?
  13. texas rigged brush hogs or drop shotting an aarons pro magic roboworm. Both produce the best for me. Everything is about confidence in the big picture.
  14. Hi all, this is my first post so go easy on me please. I fish Spring Lake in California it is relatively small, about 70 acres, but it fishes very large with many coves and places for dish to hide. I saw a guy really doing well with a spook. I picked one up and was just wondering if anyone had a specific style that they like to fish this lure. Thanks in advance.
