  1. About a 12 foot jon boat or a mod v jon boat is the only way to go. As for a motor, What hp or how fast do you want it to go.
  2. I havent done much of 1/8 ounce. what I have done is fairly light casting. If you are looking for something that can cast an 1/8 ounce a mile and still have backbone I am having trouble thinking of anything.

  5. the rod does everything perfectly. from shakeyheads to dropshots and 5/16 ounce finesse jigs and all weights and sizes the rod performs extremely well.
  6. If your having trouble with mono dont ever go to flourocarbon. thet stuff has a wicked memory.
  7. Mainly going to be a worm and jig rod for flipping and pitching. I will also throw mainly texas rigs and some senkos. Also what # lline and what variety would you all use.

  11. agreed tho i prefer spinning for both u can get away with a shakeyhead on a baitcaster.
  12. shimano old style im7 graphite rods. very sensitive tips lots of backbone. not the caliber of rod your looking for but definatetly a great rod
  13. get a rod with lots of back bone. wait to set the hook. keep the braid. then reel. if your hook is set good there is no coming off.
  14. I don't know if you have them where you are but Little creepers are the best swimbaits I have used. They are made in Clear lake, ca by some guys in a house. They are so good berkely tried to copy them, but without success. They have sizes from 4 or 6 inches, and maybe an 8 inch. Check them out.
  15. Thats a good idea, great way to look at things. Its not necessarily convetional but it works! Most of the time people are trying to imatate a crawdad so white is rarely used in that situation. Best guess i can come up with.
