I was real skeptical at first about it but I used it on my jig setup when I spooled it up and some the night before I went to fish and definitely noticed a difference in how the line was more easily managed and less prone to backlashing.

Recently picked up a new *** black m/f spinning rod after fishing with my 7'3" MH and loving it.

I would have to say weightless wacky is probably my favorite way to do it but I work mine a little different than Senko lover. I cast out and let it sink and keep my rod tip high, pop it up a few times and let it drop again,I usually work this very slowly. Definitely going to try fishing it like a fluke now though to switch it up and see how it works for me.

I use the fluoro on everything but my topwater rod and frog rod at this point.I really like it and knock on wood haven't had many issues with it so for b ow I will continue to use it. I do fish with people though that do have some of the mentioned issues.

Well went to gander due to the horrible weather we are having at the moment and ended up leaving with a new *** black and some senkos. The senkos were on sale for 5.99 and also buy one get one 50% off so it would have almost been irresponsible not to buy them.... The rod on the other hand I just really wanted and when it comes to fishing gear I'm weak willed In regards to TW I ordered a reel late Thursday night and it shipped Friday afternoon so maybe they are catching up?

If I had a dime for every time the guy I worked with told me it's a waste to buy all the gear I do and that he could catch more fish with just a cane pole and worm I'd be able to buy a whole bunch more of the "wasteful" gear haha My dad and I also had a group of high school girls at night on a dock ask us if we were catching anything, told them the bite was slow but we were catching them, said that sounded super boring and they walked off. Then we heard them laughing and saying they should throw rocks in the water ahead of us to make us think it was a fish... I can only imagine from the sound of the splash they had to be tossing grapefruit sized rocks not 25 yards down the bank in the direction we were going

I was doing soooo good... Then I went to DSG and they had all missile baits 20% off so I bought 9 bags of the d bombs. They also have KVD square bills at 4 dollars and 20% off all other strike king lures so I will have to go back. So I said to myself I'm done for now, then I walked out of gander 20 minutes later with 6 xcalibur xr50 one knockers, and I made the mistake of picking up an *** black rod and really liking it, so it will probably only be a matter of time...

That would almost be better to just being shorter since I'm not the tallest individual.

So I have been reading, reading, and reading some more trying to determine which rod in the E6X lineup would be a good hard jerkbaits rod for my rogues and shadow raps. I'm kind of on the fence between the 843C CBR and the 812C SBR. I'm not sure if the 843 would be stiff enough to work the bait faster being a mod/fast but then on the other side I don't want the 812 being an extra fast ripping the bait out of the fishes mouth. So I am coming to you guys for guidance, any help or other recommendations would be really appreciated. Bob

Picked up some weighted swimbait hooks and a few yozuri lipless cranks to try yesterday, I realllly need to go fishing so I can stop buying things.

I'm in the same boat, I wear medium gloves and I honestly wanted to like it and it casted decent enough but it was just to big for my hands and uncomfortable to fish with for an extended period of time so I got rid of it. but that's not to say you wouldn't get used to it and like it.

The Curado I was my first Shimano baitcaster to, absolutely loved it. I have a few now but I'd still really like to try one of the 50E's also but the stores around me don't stock them and I don't really want to order one until I know how it will palm.

This is good to hear, now I feel a little better about maybe ordering one for a jig rod online.

Just picked up some of the new shadow raps in a few different colors from dsg and gm. The guy let me go through the box he was pulling them out of and stocking them from after we got talking haha

I'm really hoping that these will hit a store somewhere near me when they are released, I'd really like to try one. I've wanted to try a Loomis for a while but their current rods in that price range don't seem to have very good reviews.

I've had really good luck with the customer service at the East peoria store. I had bought the 100 mph bibs because they were on sale in my size only. Found out the jacket was on sale in my size as well after I had got home. I'm about an hour and a half away from the store so I contacted them and was put in touch with the store manager, had the jacket shipped that day and at my house the next. Great customer service there.

I think I am 3 or 4 issues of the magazine in and still haven't seen anything. I was starting to get a little curious about that to.

Well made my way over to bps and ended up leaving with one of the new carbonlites some devils horses and 9 bags of the structure bugs, not as bad as I was expecting but I "needed" all of it

I keep wanting to pull the trigger on a drop shot setup but it always seems whenever I go to put the order in or go to the store I find something else that I end up buying.

I have one of the 2500 series and absolutely love it, that's a great deal!

Right now I kind of have my eye set on the new Micro Magic Pros and also the Avid X's just not sure which I want to try first, kind of leaning towards the Avid at the moment.

I had one just the other night where the bass were going crazy over my LC gunfish, they were hitting it every cast. I was beyond upset to wake up and find it was just a dream.

I got quite a few gift cards for TW and BP so I used them to buy some duo realis lipless cranks, some LC pointers and some new spinner baits. I used my BP ones for some 100 mph bibs, I'll get the jacket later since they're on sale right now at the store.
