Official Bank Walkers Topic!
Here's something that I've learned in the last two weeks. Been seeing a lot of carp lately, and discovered something important. When you see the big carp rooting around in the bottom, kicking up a lot of mud, they also attract bass. I've caught several bass throwing a worm into the mud. I guess the carp are throwing around a lot of small worms & such and the bass are taking advantage of such an opportunity. Try it! It works.

Morning Buzzbait..
I had my first buzzbait strikes of the year yesterday in water so shallow that the bass would practically jump out of the air in an attempt to get it. Pretty darn awesome! Didn't try it today with the "cold front" we've been having but yeah, go for it!

Uh... Yep, The Ned Rig Is Awesome
With all the hype surrounding these, (positive, I might add!), I really need to try them. I think they'd be killer on ponds. Just wish I could find them at my local stores....do ya'll think BPS, Cabelas, or Gander Mountain would have them, or do I have to order online?

Finding Fish!!!!?
Finding the fish can be difficult at times. For me, fishing small ponds, I know the fish are there, I'm just required to get them to bite. It's much harder to break down a large body of water. I would recommend some finesse tactics. Find some spots that have worked for you and fish them with a dropshot or shakeyhead with a small worm. That's a proven way to get some bites, no matter the conditions. Best of luck!

Crankbait Question
Your bait will travel bill down. So ideally the head of the bait, and not the treble-infested underside should bump the cover, unfortunately, that doesn't always happen. Throw to visible cover like the guy above me said. You know the cover is there, so judge how it feels when the bait runs over it. And BTW: get a lure retriever. It will pay off if you're losing so much.

Let's Talk Fantasy Lineup For The Sacramento River
Well, I did some hard thinking and changed up my roster, surprising myself. This fantasy event is dominated by certain anglers for their bucket, Dean, Skeet, Ish, and Ike for A, Lane, Hackney, Ehrler for B, Hite and Velvick for C, Lane and Defoe for D, and Litner, Ashley, and Palaniuk for E. If those guys do well, everybody will have picked them. It's gonna take some dark horses to place me well. So, here's my new roster. A: Justin Lucas Used to live in California. Only 2.8 percent picked him so far. B. Bernie Schultz Florida guys will do well this time. Considering that only 0.1 percent picked him, if that proves to be true then he will be worth some valuable points to me. C. Kelly Jordan Jordan did well on Guntersville and I think he will do well again here. Only 1.9 percent have picked him. D. Bobby Lane Didn't change him out. Feel like he'll do well. E. Jared Litner Really the only logical choice to me, so I didn't mess with this roster.

Online College Degrees?
I'll be quite honest with you. I've taken a seminary/college level course in Biblical Greek. Apart from the tough language, I hated the online experience, hated the lectures, and hated not knowing anyone else in my class. Just not for me.

What'd You Go To School For? What Are You Doing Now?
Honestly I would love to go out and catch a frog or a crawdad in the creek, dig up a worm, and dissect them. But the ones that have been sitting in a box in my house for a year and who knows how long before that smell terrible and are just pathetic.
