yes it's an older model, discontinued actually. bill dance has a Fat A model. the only places you'll find them today are outlet type online stores and vintage ones on ebay.

just ordered my Bomber "FAT A" anyone else have one? any likes or dislikes about the crankbait? I'm a bomber lure fan so i'm expecting good quality. can't wait for it to come in.

can anyone provide me with a detailed how to on casting with a fly rod? at work and don't have access to youtube...

I have a 8bb shakespere agility spinning reel, its super smooth and is built to last. when i buy reels i try to get rods i like that are in the same price range as the reel or vice versa. but thats just me. I like my set-up's components to be of equal quality.

the reel's good, the rods junk. think about it, its a 50$ reel with a 10$ rod... basically.

great, cool i just wanted to know the characteristics. I do understand that they vary from person to person due to prefrence. Knowing just helps me better select rods for particular uses.

i've been researching and profishart.com has some on point replicas as well as skin mounts. check them out, it's the best i've found yet.

who can explain the diffrence in a casting rod, crankbait/jerkbait rod, jigging rod, flipping & pitching stick? in regourds to length, speed and action.

whats the best baitcaster you've got for 50$ or less? weather it be your first ever or just something you liked and gave a try. I can honestly say that I got my pfluger criterion for 50$ when i needed a reel desprately while on vacation and it feels as good if not slightly better than a lot of reels in the 100$ price range. I still have it to this day and still use it. 5bb and 6.3-1 ratio. A great buy for 50 bones.

the surface temprature is always coldest, so knowing smallmouth bass they could be where the deeper more comfortable water is as well as near structure and flowing water. pair this up with good fishing weather, time and good lure choice and you should be fine. sometimes a trick worm isn't flashy enough (could be color, size, technique, and even smell) to entice a bass thats hugging the bottom. I hear slow-rolling a spinnerbait right by their nose does well lol lipless cranks do good too. just dont snag the bottom!

all it takes is a couple tiny eggs to flow here or there. spreading from a pond to up a stream then to a river or other pond.
