Replacing Hooks
crankbaits are ushually a size 6, but if you like bigger/smaller hooks you can put them on as long as they dont tangle with eachother or kill the baits action.

Replacing Hooks
yea man you can what i do is push the eye to the replacement hook inbetween the split ring to get it open and then just push it around to the opening and threat the split ring through the eye and slide it around until it's on all the way.

Consider This Situation...
I'd fish a rapala floater jerkbait because the max depth is 4 feet so I'd be able to fish it fairly thoroughly. I'd take the front hook off and just fish it with the back hook so when i caught enough fish and the hook in the back got dull/damaged i could put the one from the front on the back and get more fish out of it. then when i felt the hooks were both dull I'd sharpen them on a stone. I'd have enough fish to last until I got rescued. lol

How Bass See Color
Ever see a color and say thats blue but have another person call it purple? or how about the same cenario with red and orange? what I'm saying is maybe the way color is percieved can differ between two bass just like it can between two humans. some reds may look a little more orangish to one person and some purples may look a little more blue to another. not everyones eyes see things the same, why should the eyes of a bass? I doubt bass can't see color, but i don't doubt that they see it diffrently from one to another.

Clear, Stained, Murky
definately a colorado because if the bass cant see the lure well you want something that gives off enough vibration for the bass to feel with their lateral line. that way they sence the baits presence more and find it easier if it cant be seen.

Clear, Stained, Murky
colorado blades = more vibration and lift willow leaf blades = less lift, more flash indiana blades = even amount of flash, vibration, and lift gold blades = best in stained water silver blades = best in clear water chartruse/colored blades = best in murky water the sliver blades in clear water have a bright white flash to them, bass love that. the gold blades flash in stained water can help the bait stand out and provides just enough contrast between the water color and blade. chartruse/colored blades are good when you dont need a lot of flash but want the bait to stand out in murky water. also willow leaf blades come through weeds better than colorado, agin indiana blades are somewhere between the two.

St. Croix Or Duckett Ghost?
I'm getting a revo sx and want to pair it up with either a medium powered duckett ghost or a st. croix primere cranking rod. I have heard good things about the duckett's but need info on the st. croix, i hear from a lot of people that the st. croix brand is on point but i'd like to know what anyone on here would choose and why? the st. croix is only 20$ more than the duckett.

Giving Up On A Pond
I would never give up on a pond i caught a bass in, you caught one. There's bound to be more, try to match the hatch and bounce around until you find the spot they're in. sometimes they'll be in spots that are too hard to get to, other times they'll be in your face. thats just how bank fishing is.

Finesse Swimbaiting
that way will work but i prefer rigging them weedless. either paddle tails or flukes.
