Cuaght my first top water smallmouth yesterday on a heddon super spook jr. It was an awesome blow-up, it missed it the first time but came right back for it Didn't have a scale so don't know how big it was but I'm guessing 2.5-3lbs. And cuaght 2 others on Gitzit tubes The fishing's getting better!

I'll be getting it in a month or so,As soon as I can get the money saved up,can't wait! I'll keep y'all updated on it

Can't you tie direct to a spool with holes? Most spools have them I think.
