I already have a tatula type R 6.4:1 for shallow cranking but I would like something that palms better.I'm considering the lews speed spool Lfs,It sounds like a great little reel.

I'm looking for a good real in the $100-price range, I'll be paring it w/ a *** *** black something in a 7.1:1 or 8.1:1 gear ratio for jigs,worms,etc. Thanks for any suggestions!

I use a 1000 sized shimano Sedona spooled w/ 6lb seagur red label. It's a great little reel!

I use owner twistlock light hooks there the only hooks I use for weightless T-Rigs.

X2. Most my fish through the years have come of a weightless T-rigged senko.

I have the Tatula type R and its a solid reel very smooth and durable bought it a while back and have beat the crap out of it while shore fishing but still works great! The only thing is i have found that it casts just as far as any $200 dollar real w/ out the T-Wing. But im deffenently glad i bought it! Its a great choice if your looking for a real in the $200 range!...

I went on a Road trip there last summer and we found crystal lake outside of ayr we cuaght tons of bass using white t-rigged paddle tail swimbaits, Gyb senkos t-rigged, and any kind of frogs we were gonna try some other lakes but the fishing was so good we just kept going there

Lol I think u, basshunter and I have posted about lopez like 6 times. I don't think anyone fishes there except us hehe

Has anyone used the st croix Mojo bass in the 7ft med hvy cranking model or any other rods that would be a better choice in that price range as a cranking rod?
