Ion Camera
I'd really like to be able to do slow motion film. I'm looking at GoPros.. Including the GoPro Hero+ action camera. It says it is 1080p/60fps.. Would that be capable of slow mo?

Will We See The Ned In Mlf?
Honestly on MLF, any type of slow, methodical, co tact bait fishing is probably considered 'finesse' to the guys on their, because ideally, you are probably fishing some sort of reaction bait, covering water, and catching fish every handful of cast. I've also watched Mark Davis break out the spinning reel plenty of times.

Poppers?
I will fish a popper anytime I want to work an isolated piece of cover , like a lone log for instance, for a long time. The popper can make quite a commotion without moving very much. Phil Hunt says he wacks willows with a boat oar to drop flies into an area, and then comes back an hour or two later and fishes a popper in that area were panfish are feeding on the flies for postspawn bass.

Braided Line Durability
I don't believe discoloration has an effect on the tensile or knot strength of a line. As long as the line feels limp enough for use, I would continue to use it. If you are worried about visibility you could take a sharpie marker to recolor the discolored length of line.

In Search Of A Trophy Smallmouth
What did the biggest one weigh? She is quite a chunk! I'm not the greatest smallie fisherman, I only catch decent sized ones in creeks when the opportunity arises, so the best advice I an give you is to keep fishing! The more you have a bait in the water, the more likely you are to collide with a Goliath smallmouth! You can do it!

Favorite Topwater
I like a walker for sure... A Sexy Dawg, Spook, ect. I like wake baits, but more for largemouth, they slam em!

Official Bank Walkers Topic!
All good frog choices. Now you just have to get Kermit to sashay across a ten pounder.

Advice Needed For Fishing Before/during/after Storms And Low Pressure Systems
Before and during a storm front are amazing times to be fishing. I love to throw a spinnerbait around as a storm system breaks up the water, and the fish will usually chase in water like that. Postfrontal is another story... The water is usually muddied up, and the fish aren't as willing to chase as they've spent the last day or so chasing bait and are content with a full belly. I still go fishing though because why not!

Heartbreaking!!!!! Your Worst Misses.
Lost one this morning on a squarebill crankbait. I ripped it out of some grass, had a vicious reaction strike. Was struggling to keep the fish down but ultimately he was too much. He breached the water, brought some slack in my line, and threw the hook. At least a 4lb fish

Two Bassresource.com Road Trips In 2016?
I don't think it will happen for me this hear, maybe a few years in the future, but would definitely love to attend a BR event in the future!

Official Bank Walkers Topic!
Also, really enjoyed the BPS Extreme HM54 6'6" MH I night for Squarebills. Nice moderate action but plenty of backbone. Nice and sensitive, as well as light and balanced to boot.

Official Bank Walkers Topic!
Caught a decent sized one this morning on the 2.5. Lost another one, at least a 4 lb fish. I need to work on keeping my rod tip down as I feel the fish try and come up, because once they breach and get some slack, they throw that hook in no time flat.

Cork Sealant
As has been shown in some of my other post, I own several rods that are 10 years old if not more, handed down by my dad, and the later ones I bought because I liked the feel of them. In order to continue using them for the foreseeable future I was wondering if their is a cork sealant I could use to protect the cork handles? I'd prefer to still be able to feel the cork, rather than a glossy finish. Thanks, Jakob

Glass Or Graphite
Due to multi use like above, graphite. Also, I like a graphite fast action for topwaters/jerkbajts so they are more responsive.

Is It Worth Fishing Tomorrow?
Fishing is better than working... So, yes, I'd fish.

Feeling Bummed Out
Yes, but this isn't necessarily some tiny fish that died. It could have been a good one. Bob Lusk said, and I quote "When you catch a 3+ fish, you treat it like a woman on a first date, because that fish had to overcome tremendous odds to get to where it is, and it has a chance of making it to double digits." C & R isn't cruel if you do it right. Hold tue fish right, don't drag him all over the place, and remove hooks swiftly and with minimal damage, and your fish is less stressed, and generally apt to survive. I'll bet more survive than you think.

Kayak Bass Fishing!
I'm more apt to call that a small boat lol

Cabela's Pro Guide Vs. Tourney Trail Casting Rods
I wouldn't hesitate to buy 3. Maybe buy a few different powers/lenghts/actions. If you don't need them right away, hold them back until one gives out. You could be loaded with decent rods for a while that way.
