My PB came from a creek about as wide as a semi. 5 ft deep is the deepest it got. Spillway from lake. Caught a 7.4 on a ribbit frog.

I typically don't follow anglers. But i think if i was it'd be a man by the name Gerald Swindle. His attitude and mentality towards life is something that is pretty amazing. I started watching some videos on him and just seeing that he's a down to earth guy with the humor thrown in. I can relate to that the most. I cant learn anything from a guy that's all uptight and wound up about fishing. He keeps it simple enough that i and just about anyone can understand. If i had anything to agree with what he says, it'd be the PMA. Positive Mental Attitude. Its all about confidence on the water. To keep from being upset over losing a fish, to keep hammering when you ain't gettin bit. I don't wanna get up on my soap box or brown nose him too much... but i cant find a better more positive fishing role model in the professional bass fishing world. I think if everyone went out on the water and had the attitude he does, itd be a good ol time everytime. Just a thought... Thanks,Jesse

Hey BR nation. I just received my Pinnacle Optimus LTE in the mail. I purchased it from Tim Grein, he is a flw angler. So i knew it would be in very good condition. And as expected, that's how i received it. In the original box, with the foam inserts and in bubble wrap. Not a mark on it. Alright enough of that on to the reel. Its not gonna be exactly what you guys are used to hearing because im a noob in reviewing product. But here goes nothing. First impressions are the reel is super super super light. Lighter than anything I've ever had. I primarily throw Abu Garcia reel. This reel is super smooth to me. If i had to compare it to something it'd probably be a shimano chronarch. The finish is absolutely beautiful on this reel. Flat black with red accents. My two favorite colors. The reel grips seem to be oversized which i prefer with longer fingers. If anyone has any other questions just run them by me and ill answer them to the best of my ability. Sorry if im a little long winded. But i must say im excited about slapping this bad boy on a rod and rippin some lips. Thanks,Jesse

Just got one used from FLW angler tim grein. Itll be here Monday. Anyone used them? Its my first pinnacle reel.

I use both. I believe the chatterbait is the better bait. Id say because of the more erratic action it has. I've been throwing one since they come out. Don't get me wrong they both catch fish. But if i wanna get serious about it, ill throw a chatterbait.

Throw a quarter ounce chatterbait with a twin tail trailer. Drown in garlic. Thank me later.

Been bass fishing for years. Have only recently decided to get serious about it. Fished tournaments before. Favorite approach is crankin. Favorite lake is guntersville. Hope to get some help when needed and maybe a few fishing buddys
