I believe you're correct. 500$ is a bit of money but that lake is so awesome, constant 5-6 pounders and the best part the fish aren't shy at all. I have acces to a couple very nice small lakes and ponds in that area. What was your best bait this year ? And do you only fish militon ?

I use them about 80% of the time. Soft plastics are so versatile you can fish so many ways. Hard baits are kind of 1 dimensional. You can only use them 1 way which is a disadvantage at times.
