  1. Woul t that just allow the water to get my in easier. But then again the vapor wouldn't be trapped inside.
  2. I don't think that's why its called bait.
  3. Mega strike will stick for a long time basically until you don't want it on anymore.
  4. For those baits I woul use 17-20 pound mono. Not sure how much you can put on.
  5. Dang that's the one we have it runs our 12 foot deep V incredibly. Solid motor, been through quite a bit of rocks and is still running great.
  6. A 55lb thrust for that cheap is a heck of a deal I think we payed close to 400 for ours alone.
  7. Frog toggs
  8. You sound like me in the mornings. That's all I ever want to do, I just got a pompadour too.
  9. Soft body's work better than hollow ones. My grandpa missed a 6 pounder on a scum frig buzzing series. It came off as I put the net in the water.
  10. This fish was caught on a paddle tail. If you look behind me you can see the weeds that I'm talking about.
  11. Found the silver hawk, can't find any night Hawks.
  12. Yeah I was 7 when your boat came out. The gunwale does look a little high, it could be the lack of gear as they were just doing a photo shoot.
  13. This is the lake/pond that I fish in the summer in Ohio. It is about 40 ft max depth with the average between 8-12 feet. It's a old strip mine that was filled up with water, so the sides drop off pretty quick from the bank. There is a lot of surface weeds that float up to the surface and right under it. There are some brush piles and other cover spread in the bottom middle where it gets real wide. It is at max 3 acres total. There are some brush piles that kinda float right next to the bank and the fish hang around those as well as the weeds which are spread along pretty much the whole banks. Where it gets lighter in coloration in the picture is about 4-8 feet deep. The long cove on the left is probably 30 yards wide and is deep in the middle but only 2 feet on the sides, it drops off probably 2 feet per every 4 yards across. The water is crystal clear. Probably 12 foot visibility with poloarized sunglasses on. It's a very weedy lake except for some parts where there are none at all. I have a 12 foot deep V hull that I can go out in so the whole lake is accessible. There are LMB, bluegill, sunfish, pumpkinseeds, emurs, trout in the spring, and crappie. So how would you fish this ? Ps. The fish like to hang pretty shallow and usually in the shade.
  14. Thanks, I bought a night hawk from them but just the rod and I love it it was only 60$. But I can't find any more of them. Only one I have found come with a reel.
  15. If you ain't first your last.
  16. Nice, you'll get the 5+ soon.
  17. Ditto, you sure you need more ? Just use a longer rope, or one in the front and back.
  18. Huh, never knew about those. Do they sit the same in the water ?
  19. What is up with the layout of that nitro ? Never have seen a boat like that. To me it would be a time will tell thing because I fish large and small lakes. But I would choose the nitro, it is just bigger over all. That would be the main selling point for me. I like to have quite a bit of room between me and my partner. Being cramed into a little deck sucks.
  20. Do you get a weight or measurement ?
  21. Indeed it is, didn't notice untill I went and looked at the rod on their website.
  22. Nice copy and paste A-Jay... Straight from tackle warehouse
  23. Well the rattles are designed to bring attention to the jig in stained water. Some claim to mimic the sound a crawfish makes, I think that is false some may argue. So the rattles basically just give the bass more reason to bite it or find the jig itself.
  24. Check him many of those were even about fishing.
