  1. I fish some decent size florida lakes. Nothing huge, but I love my canoe. When by myself I sit backwards in the front seat and put a 5 gallon bucket with lid full of water in the front of the boat to add ballast and keep me from being blown around to bad. Always have a life vest and good organization in the boat makes the day easier. I've also fashioned some Rod holder to cut down on the clutter

    Anyone mess with rage rigging creatures, or large ribbon tails on swim bait hooks? What are you using and how Ya fishing it?
  3. I will say some of my nicer bass so far have been hooked on a 10 inch ribbon tail worm
  4. Another package from bass pro thanks to gift cards from my wedding should be here tomm. And I'll be all set on baits for this year. While I fine tune my fishing style and learn the baits
  5. Would it be acceptable to fish a creature type bait with a hop hop pause like a worm? And still get bites and be working it effectively? ( not hi jacking trying to get more info provided op)

  7. Very interested. I throw a lot of stick baits and ribbon tails. But I'm really trying I get into the creature baits. I'm gonna start flipping them in cover side it's always so hot and sunny in Florida. But I'm also considering texas rigging it and working it like a worm.

  9. Id try and contact evinrude or Google it. If it is blowing a fuse it has a component pulling to much amperage due to progressive failure, or due to a short to ground in wiring or an internal failure of the component. If Ya need help with basic wiring or component checks message me
  10. I have a couple different sizes and change the trailer on them sometimes. Super affective lil cheap lures!
  11. Yeah unfortunately my minnow cranks and rattle traps rarely see action due to the weeds and vegitation same with my chatter baits. I really think I can trim this down. Thanks so much guys
  12. Ahhh excelent that is the point im striving to get at. I may try only bringing certain baits with me and forcing myself to fish them and lean them.
  13. Yep not new to fishing but totally new To bass lol. I'll start splitting bags in half maybe and cut down on the colors.
  14. I mean other than the basic supply's stated I know trick worms, ribbon tails, stick baits and soft plastic swim baits catch a lot of fish around me. In all the ponds. I guess I just need to stop carrying 6 colors of each type of a bait lol
  15. That's not a bad idea. I have a lot of options to play with now for sure. Narrowing down color selection has always been difficult for me. I get in a rut with a bait and that is it lol

  18. Soft plastics is my game too. That's almost all I fish
  19. Don't forget to take a look at a rooster tail inline spinner. A white 1/4 ounce can be deadly on all size fish.

  21. Lol I have a 5.11 tactical pack. No issue on amount of storage. Just trying to simplify.
  22. I'm getting ready to make a go of jigs for the first time got a few different ones in the mail on the way. I'm pretty excited I've never fished them before

  24. Hmmmm that's a really good idea actually. Now if I can bring myself to settle with not brining the whole house!
