Daiwa Lexa 100 Baitcaster Opinions!?
Thanks for the help everyone. I'm looking at the lews also. The biggest thing that turned me onto the lexa was reading that it's spool weight allows you to fish lighter lures since that's mostly what I fish. How is the Tatula?

Worms Getting Stuck In Lily Pads?!
So here in fl we have thick lily pad fields, they can be fished with a peg weighted worm. But on retrieval the weight will gesture in the one spot on the pad as you try to finesse it over and into the next pocket. If you hold the Rod straight out and pull theough it your fine. But it's a lil annoying. I am fishing from the bank by the way, anyone have any tips?

Daiwa Lexa 100 Baitcaster Opinions!?

Daiwa Lexa 100 Baitcaster Opinions!?
So I'm looking at getting a daiwa lexa 100 baitcaster. For all around bass fishing like the feature of light weight spool and ability to throw light lures and plastics on it. I'm unsure if I want to go with 6.3.1 or 7.1.1. Anyone have any opinions on quality and acapabilitys of this reel?

I actually picked up a couple storm chug bugs and a rebel popper. I haven't fished them yet tho. I need to get out and try those. Swim baits and worms are my main go to. I'm trying rage rigging and creature baits tho.

Good Spinning Reel $50 Or Under?
I love the Pflueger presidents I have two. You may look at the shimmano ix2000. For a $15 reel they are actually a nice smooth reel I've had a couple over the years. It'll last a long time especially in freshwater duty. Walmart and bass pro have them on line

Anyone Almost Exclusively Fish Soft Plastics?
I fish almost all soft plastics. I mean I throw rattle traps, rooster tails, and crank baits and chatter baits. But besides the rooster tails they have never produced for me so I mainly throw soft plastics. Anyone else out there?

Line Preference On Spinning Reels
You can back it so there's less braid on the reel. That way te reel isn't full I braid you'll never functionally use. And save a lil cash

Line Preference On Spinning Reels
10-15 pound fins wind tamer braid is amazing stuff. It's a lil stiff but it's very forgiving g for braid and manages wind so well
