  1. Yeah I'm considering trying a braid. I tried spyderwire years ago and had bad wind nots and issues. But I'm running I to that now with mono lol
  2. I've tried doing some reading on it. What is the huge advantage to not going with mono and why do ya need to fish a mono leader when Ya go to braid?
  3. Hey everyone I just started bass fishing and restrung my shimano spinning real up with some fresh trilene big game green 12 pound mono. I've ised this line for years fishing salt, but generally was using sinkers since I did a lot of pier fishing. I noticed since I'm throwing a lot of soft plastics with no weight, my line wants to twist or even wind knot. And sometimes tangle coming off the spool. It's not under/over spooled I've used it for years. I'm assuming it's due to throwing plastics with no weight. Any help or advice and suggestions is great thanks!

  19. Hey everyone, just started bass fishing here in the gulf coast of fl a week or so ago, I'm hooked. Grew up salt water fishing my whole life but this is so much more enjoyable. Using a spining reel and 12 pound test, mostly zoom trick worms. I've gotten on to some small bass in a couple local ponds. Got some I plan to try this week, stopped at the local tackle shop and got some different color trick worms, yum dinger worms and super flukes gonna give them a shot. Anyway thanks for having me any advice is appreciated
