  3. Doesn't sound crazy at all. I'm still acquiring lures since switching over to freshwater. So I haven't necissarly found the hot ticket at my ponds. I mostly throw yum dingers. Other than that rooster tails have been great on occasion. Rattle traps I've ha a couple hook ups but nothing landed on them. I got some top water frogs and chatter baits to try now tho

  6. Ahhh very true it has been chilly here in fl
  7. So I bought some soft plastic and hollow body frogs. We have a lot of grass and lil pad beds in our lakes and ponds here in fl. How do you guys know when to use this tactic or when is it best to fish them and how do you choose too?
  8. It is! It's so odd. Does anyone else run into inconsistency on what they bite on in certain ponds?
  9. Oh I love being out there as the sun comes up. Just nothing seems to hit in the canals or pond. But if I come back after the suns out for a few hrs the ish are seen and the hook ups improve drasticly. It just seem so odd
  10. So i see everyone talk about and read about early morning bass fishing. We have a couple large ponds and canal systems loaded with bass here in fl. If you go out early morning as suns coming up there's no activity aT all no bites. Go out afternoon when suns out and up there everywhere and biting and sunning. Do we just have lazy fish here?
  11. It does it would be different if I saw it jump or something im ok with loosing those ones lol. I really thought I finally got a hog. Al, I've been able to catch is 1-3 pound max fish lol
  12. Fishing a local nature preserve pond today was throwing a rattle trap which haven't had any luck on. Got a real good something on lol. It stayed close to the bottom I never got it to the surface water is dark and about 3-5 foot deep. Fought a few mins then it went up under the Boardwalk and popped the hooks. So mad lol. Idk of it was a bass, or catfish or carp or what
