  3. So I'm wanting to string up a bait caster I got with trilene original fire line. But my local Walmarts only have the hi visibility green/yellow. And didn't wana order just a role of the smoke color since I dont need to order anything. Do you guys think that line color realy matters? My other rods have dark or light green braid
  4. Fished a local canal and pond today. Hooked up on one but it spit the hook in some algae near the bank, caught nice 1 pounder that fought like he was bigger. Was a nice day out today for sure since it warmed up some. Theyl inked black and blue yum dingers today

  6. Wow very nice! I just got some gambler baits ( local company) angry otters in green pumpkin to try rage rigging and some of there craws. Looks like a lil golf course action there?

  10. So I've been fishing eagle claw lazer sharp wire hooks. But got some gamakatsu. Wow they are such a step up in quality and thickness and finish! What are yall using?

  13. Most of the small ponds in my area are shallow and have a lot of hydrilla and grass. Throwing a trick worm or yum dinger and t rig it is real effective! Wacky also
  14. Lol I went on there sight and went ahead and grabbed $40 worth of 2-6 foot crank baits, and 3/8-5/8 ounce lipless rattling baits in craw, shad, blue gill and sunfish colors. Thanks so much guys

  20. Oh ok awesome! I'll check that out. I have a lot of grass and hydrilla in out lakes locally and modestly stained water visibility to the bottom is roughly 3-6 feet mostly. I'm assuming solve or chrome and black and green and black should be ok
  21. So I read the few articles on them. But sincere fot a canoe and I can get past the weed line on my local lakes. What are some good crank aid ad colors to start with? I have a couple rattle traps already.
