That's what I would have done as well. Although I am not too sure that's the decision I would of made in my younger years.

Is gluing the trailer to the jig common practice?

Not fishing with a life jacket is one thing, but not wearing a life jacket while tubing, wakeboarding, skiing etc is just crazy to me.

The dinks are competing with the bigger fish for food, take out the competition and you have more food for the bigger fish?
