wow FC, that self-photo with the Striper is amazing. Do you have something on your boat that is fixed (i.e.. your seat) that you know you can place the camera on and sit in a certain spot that will result in a good photo every time?

Im too lazy to research the in-depth side of the Perry Story/Legend, so heres a few to throw out there. How old was he when this "happened"?? was he by himself? Whats the Mont. Lake record since his "catch"? (like i said, i dont know the story much at ALL, so if any of these questions sound ridiculous, dont go crazy on me) Is he still alive? if so, How old is he? if not, when and how did he die? What did he catch the fish on? (if anyone has a very similar pic of the lure, please feel free to pm it to me) what lb. test was on his reel? What kinda of reel was it? rod? has a BASS masters tourney been held on this lake? if not, why the @#$ not? how big is this lake? has anyone on the forum fished this lake before? P.S. if any moderators feel that i high-jacked this thread from the original writer of the topic, feel free to delete it or move it to its own post, but i apologize if this is VERY off topic of the thread.

HAHA. yeah i forgot to mention the best part of my "gift" pack that BASS sent me, the coin! The most worthless thing ive ever seen in my life. i mean jeez, even if i thought it looked cool, what the @#$ am i supposed to do with it? it doesnt have a loop at the top, so you cant put it on your key chain (IF i liked it) and it has no financial worth whatsoever! At first, i was excited to join the BASS club, but now..... its a coin toss. (sorry i had to)

But RW, from a legal standpoint , ARENT i obligated to: A.return it? B. pay for it? since i am a paid-in-full "member" of BASS, doesnt that waive my rights of their solicitation (to me) at will? Although it sounds like it shouldnt be that way, since i already have given them my "membership fees", i thought that was the case? hopefully im wrong as usual, but the book belongs to me now!! P.S. OK... so its about darn time that i bite the bullet and purchase some digital fish scales. The $5 spring scales ive been "relying" on are like sooooo 2006 and they just gotta go! So heres what im looking for: - Accurate...duh - Digital - Weighs up to 26lbs (Then, if the fish is heavier than that, ill know what im working with!) - Easy to use - Easy on the fish - Small/sleek enough to not be a burden while bank beatin' - Price is really not an issue, since its not for 50+lb. fish, i imagine that what im looking for is not out of my price range.

(i dont know if this counts or not....wait, yea it does) My girlfriends dad helps run this big piece of land where you can pay anually (i think) to go and shoot skeet, train/run your dogs, hunt, etc. There are 3 bodies of water on the property (ive only seen one so far) that are supposedly stocked with some pretty big bass. In this particluar situation, im sure the guys running it would cut you a deal on the fee if you were just going to fish.

i would say (in Texas) that high school and college are more celebrated than cowboy football. Theres just something about Texas college ball that doesnt come close to anything else.
