  1. That is some quality posting. 16 pages of laughing in tears.
  2. Looks like you're ready for some LUNKER HUNTIN'
  3. I caught a bass on a pickle slice from a McDonald's cheeseburger under a bobber. It quickly became the most valuable bait of the day.
  4. Solid hot pink is a fairly popular color in Japan.
  5. Since the question is "Greatest Lure Of All Time", that does not mean most productive or popular, but suggests best or most fun to fish. The best lure ever is the hollow body frog. It's weedless, extremely effective, and is the most to fish. If you don't believe me watch theTacticallBassin' videos on the Bully Wa2 and the Spittin' Wa. CRAZY!
  6. Cutting off hook keepers is the best thing you can do on some rods. When I cut mine off I use side cutters, file it down, and replace it with a Fuji EZ hook keeper. Those Fuji hook keepers are awesome because you can put them in the exact spot you want it and take it off when you feel like it.
  7. All I know is the poll button to the left of the "new topic" page sets it up.
  8. IDK, let's start a poll on the best way to do it.

Hey guys, I'm about to order my first S-waver 168. Any particular colors that standout? So far, I'm between Party Crasher and Bone. I know it probably doesn't matter too much, just curious what you guys have to say about it.
  10. Balsa. It is much easier to work with, it's great for people just getting into luremaking. With balsa though, you HAVE to seal it twice, for instance. After your blank is finished seal it with 2 part epoxy, then paint it, then epoxy it again. I'm sure you have to do it with cedar, but it is vital with balsa.
  11. I'd start throwing rat baits.
  12. 10lb. braid or 8lb. flouro.?
  13. Those deer fish are good eating, if you can hook one.
  14. PEACOCK BASS!!
  15. I too would be with the go til they kick you out crowd, BUT since it a food establishment. Best not go, if your boss is like that, apply at Bass Pro.
  16. I was thinking about ordering this from TW (it's only $60). It's going on a ML Carrot Stix, so it would make a pretty nice combo. Anyone have any experience with it, good or bad? And what line would you suggest? It will throw some topwaters, so you think light flouro would be ruled out?
  17. I'll cast to whatever moves. Even if it's a frog or rat or something, because a bass may be interested in the disturbance too.
  18. Well you don't see that everyday. That's awesome.
  19. Congrats. That's awesome.
  20. Makelure.com has great how-to starter videos. Jannsnetcraft is great for the actual components. The best way to do it, is start with topwaters then work your way down the water column. The further down the bait goes the harder it is to make. Good luck, lure crafting is a great hobby to pick up.
  21. Deer Hair Popper, Bass Bug (fly fishing for bass). Fly fishing is my go to finnesse technique for bass.
  22. What lure is in that fish's mouth?
