NCAA Tournament
Not a huge surprise that I'm an IU fan. I have them winning it all for like the tenth year in a row. If they can by Kensucky they have a legit shot at it.

Flukemaster no longer number 1 on YouTube
Matt Allen was rated #1 on the "Kramer's Top 40 California Bass Fishermen's List' of 2015. That's ahead of Brent Ehrler, Skeet Reese, Ish Monroe, and Cody Meyer. Tim little was rated #11, and broke the world record for spotted bass at 10 lb.6 oz. These guys know what they're doing.

best lures after a good rain?
When the water is rising, I like to skip a Spanky into the flooded bushes.

What happened to carrot stick rods
Really they're not bad rods, they are super light and sensitive. I'm not so sure they have WAY more rod breakage than other companies, but when it happens to someone, and get no response they go on the ole' interwebz telling anyone who will listen the stink. Most other companies would just replace it. I have been using them for years with minimal problems (normal wear and tear). I think their biggest problem is customer service. If they instituted a "no questions asked" replacement policy that was faster and easier than the old system. They would start gaining a little more respectability.

Daiwa J Braid
So far I like it, but I've only used it here and there for a couple months. The true test will be when it's 100 degrees, 100% humidity, in the middle of a lily pad field chunkin' a frog.

Bugs
Those look awesome, I'm stoked about using Japanese topwaters this year. The Tiemco Magnum cicada and Megabass Gatta X are calling my name! Where did you order those if I may ask?

New Year - New Gear
1.The "Gravy Boat" 2.Daiwa Fuego XS. I have used it for a couple months now, and still can't believe how fast an 8.1:1 reel is. 3.Daiwa J Braid. I'm interested to see how it compares to Power Pro while frogging.

broke my rod this weekend
I know you probably don't want to bash a company, but can this rod company be found near a plate of buffalo wings and celery stix?

Best frogs
My personal favorite is the R2S Poison Spitin' Wa, with a Lake Fork Frog trailer hook. But, just starting out I have to suggest the BPS "Kermy Kit" it's a little over $25 for 6 frogs. I have literally caught more fish on the Black and Yellow BPS frog than any other lure I own. They are surprisingly awesome.

Carrot Stix....reels?
They should just pound their advertising with "Customer Satisfaction" expressing how since the company has changed the PR has too. Another thing they really need is a bigger name pro fisherman backing their product, the only one I've seen is Charlie Moore. It looks like they recently launched a new website, they have a new warranty claim form where you just send them a picture of the broken rod and S&H for a replacement. It seems like they are making progress, but it's going to be a long road.

You probably hit your "Like" quota for the day.

Who would you fish with for a day?
Matt Allen on the Delta or Clearlake. Larry Dahlberg fishing for Musky Charlie Moore (strictly for entertainment)

Lily Pads
Awesome picture! Don't give up on the frog. I'd have to say mix it up with frogs between buzz/hollow body.

What's On The Super Bowl Menu?
Looks like ribs, brisket, slaw, cast iron corn bread, buffalo chicken dip, some random desserts, and gallons of sweet tea.
