CHATTERBAIT TRAILER...paddletail or not?
Zman Razor Shadz!! Great action, so durable it is almost ridiculous. I ALWAYS have a chatter bait tied on and I can use a single Razor Shadz for weeks or longer with no adjustments and after multiple fish catches. I do switch it up if I am not getting bit on these (twin tails vertical, grass pigs- a subtle paddle tail, etc.), but they have been awesome for me. I seem to get more casts in when I am not having to change baits or re-adjust so often.

Two new items at TW
That inline swim jig looks very interesting as does the spinnerbait. I also caught the Feider jig. They all look intriguing, but they aren’t giving any of them away. Thanks for sharing

How big is your stick...........bait.
Thanks Jake!! Sounds like kind of a modified Neko that gets Texas rigged. I will definitely put some nail weights to use there. Appreciate it. Makes sense Bankbeater. I think I will give it a try both ways. Have heard too much about this to not give it a go. Thanks!

How big is your stick...........bait.
I have never tried the split shot rig. I keep hearing about it as a fish catcher. I will add the 3” to the list and give it a try this year. I assume it is a more finesse technique.

How big is your stick...........bait.
I will probably give it a try, but what kind of action do you get on a wacky rigged 3” senko? Do you get much shimmy from it? I guess I throw a Ned if I go that small. If it has a unique motion, I am interested in getting after this.

How big is your stick...........bait.
Thanks everyone, looks like my 4” and 6” additions should work well then. I like to use a weighted wacky sometimes which seems impart its own action. I agree I love to weightless T-rig and fish it weedless with the jerkbait action. Good call. Tom, you seem to really have this dialed in. Do you just not use Senkos smaller than 6” because of the giants you get to catch (still amazes me)? Choporoz, this what I was thinking as well. Glad to hear I am not delusional in my thinking.

How big is your stick...........bait.
Hey All, What size stick bait (Senko) do you throw both wacky and Texas rigged? I have always stuck to the 5” and have a lot of confidence in it. I need to branch out though, I think I need some 4” and 6” as well. I use weighted and weightless on both wacky and Texas rigs. Give me your favorites. Thanks

Quantum Smoke Casting Rods
I have always heard great things about the old Quantum Smoke Rods, but can’t find much about the new Smoke S3 rods. I had heard the old ones were light, balanced, and sensitive. Anyone have any info on the New ones? Thanks

Weighted Wacky Hooks?
I have been very happy with the Revenge Flippin wackers. They have a more stout hook, light brush guard, a great shaped hook. I stocked up in case they ever go away. Have one tied on almost always.

New War eagle Jig???
What is the marketing hype to even try to justify this price?

Strike King Bitsy Bug
What is the difference between the Bitsy Bug and the Bitsy Flip? I looked, and it seemed like it was the line tie and beefier hook and weed guard. Is there a big difference in the hook and weed guard? How about hook size? It also looks like the flip comes in heavier sizes, but still a smaller profile? I am going to pick up a few of these to use as a second jig rod. I think I will throw this for finicky fishing days as well as when I have to fish behind someone. A little more subtle to hopefully grab some missed fish.

POSSIBLY looking for a jig/frog rod with a foregrip
This is something I really like in a rod as well. In my search recently, I discovered the Powell Endurance. I want to give it a try. It is $149, supposed to be very light and solid. Something to look at. It is on my short list now, which is like 4-5 rods that have a fore grip or at least not open threads. I don’t necessarily need a large fore grip, just something covering the reel seat threads. Good luck in your search.

Line Spoiling Tools
Isn't that tool supposed to help take line twist out while spoiling a spinning reel? If so, how does it work?

Help with ice fishing
We have to ice fish around here so we don’t go crazy in winter. I hit the ice 1-2 times per week and have a couple bigger trips as well per season. I have a floating ice suit. Striker ice they are called. You go through, you float. They are warm, padded knees, pockets everywhere, and warm as can be. I do bring ice picks early and late season as well. We are driving trucks on the ice now, so picks won’t do much for us here now. Grab a quality ice suit, a sonar unit of your choosing, a Milwaukee drill and strike lite auger bit, and fall in love with the ice game! It scratches my itch until the bass open up again. ?

Talons worth it
I agree A-Jay! I buy my stuff to USE it. Mine has battle scars as well after 5 years. I was just hoping with twin anchors to avoid it as much as possible and make launching solo much easier. Looks like the ticket. Thanks again.

Talons worth it
Your routine is solid, I must have missed it on the first video. It just looked like your boat was rubbing on the dock. But it really didn't move at all. I saw you hit the remote this time. I really like your videos. I have watched your pro v videos and it makes me want one even more. That v8 just growls!! Thanks for posting!! Looking forward to hearing about your trip south. Come on Spring!!!

Talons worth it
AJ, When getting ready to load your boat, why didn’t you drop the talons instead of tying to the dock. This was one of the reasons I really wanted shallow water anchors. I hate my boat rubbing at the dock. By the way, I am looking at the Lund Pro V as my next boat. Love your set up.

What electronics for beginners
I would buy a Garmin 93 sv for the console (assuming you’re boat is not a filler) when they are on sale for $599 AND a 73 for the bow for $400 on a good deal. I get to fish with many buddies who have Lowrance, Humminbird, Garmin etc. I switched over to Garmin last year and will never look back. Very intuitive user interface. This will really benefit a new user. The touch screen makes it like a cell phone to run. The menus on other units can be harder to learn and use. I think Garmin is going to claim a HUGE share of the market in the near future.
