New finesse worms
I like the looks of Morning Dawn and Bold Bluegill. @Team9nine I was not surprised, noting your affinity for Midwest Finesse.

New finesse worms
I am looking at using a new (to me) finesse worm, the Roboworm 4.5" straight tail, and was curious what is the best way to rig them, fish them, etc. Thanks guys.

Best baits for river fishing this winter? Favorite Craw?
52 degree water, I am throwing Rk Crawlers and spinnerbaits. 48 and under we can talk about cold water, but will move to more of a jerk bait or fluke alternating with a soft craw or 3.5" swimbait on a jighead.

Favorite small craw
This is my go-to for most things.

Best Hair Jig?
If you get on TW, Andy's jigs are on sale, along with everything else.

Best Hair Jig?
Gorgeous fish! That jig looks great! I buy a few dozen Andy's synthetic and bear har jigs each year. They are consistent, use decent hooks and are cheap enough to put in nasty places.

Favorite Smallmouth bass rivers that you can share?
The Elk is fun, but I prefer those to the east for the most part. Anywhere south of the Osage/Missouri down to the Arkansas River holds good smallies.

Good Inexpensive Spinning Rod
6'8" Medium H2O Xpress Ethos, they run around $69.99.

Good Inexpensive Spinning Rod
For a medium, I would find an Academy Sports and look at the H2O Xpress Ethos 6'8" medium. It's a great stick for the price.

Best spinning reel?
The title and request are contradictory. The best isn't inexpensive. I wouldn't go cheaper than a Nasci 2500 personally, but I use a Stradic FL myself.

BUILT MY FIRST CASTING SWIMBAIT COMBO!
Holy hell. I thought I did good buying my Fury 795 on sale last month for $99 from Academy. That's a great deal.

Looking for a Chatterbait Rod
I have fished them everywhere and I cannot get a hit. I throw yours or a Project Z and I am in.

Looking for a Chatterbait Rod
Yep, sold em awhile back. Already gone or I would have taken you up on this.

Looking for a Chatterbait Rod
Project Z is my choice, 3/8 for shallow water or 1/2oz for current or fishing a hair deeper. I have a few jack hammers left, but prefer to fish the OG, Elite and PZ. I have zero fish caught on any of the 35 Jackhammers I have owned.

Looking for a Chatterbait Rod
This is the exact rod I use with 30# braid and a Metanium MG DC.

My Big Five Outfits (OK, maybe six)
I don't see a medium driving home most spinner bait hooks sufficiently for my uses. I prefer a MHMF or MHF depending on bait, hook, current or depth.

Shallow-running Suspending Jerkbait
Duo Realis Rozante 77SP. It's a fantastic shallow water jerk bait.
-
Lesser known topwater?
The Zip n Ziggy is one of my go to topwaters. They just get smashed.
-
Half a dozen lures to start a jerkbait box?
The Rozante is a really fun bait. It is a super shallow jerk bait, 0 to 3 feet and definitely gets bit.

One line for Texas Rigs and Buzzbait?
This is why. Also, the cover I am fishing around makes a difference.
-
One line for Texas Rigs and Buzzbait?
30 or 50# braid, depending which of my MHF rods I have with me.

New St. Croix Bass X
I was wondering where you got that. I don't like how heavy the original Bass X is, so the rods I tend to grab are the Avid and above when I can.

My New Smallmouth Heaven - Pics
River smallies are my passion. The strikes, the fights, the acrobatics, they're perfect.

Favorite Crankbait Color
Duo Realis Kabuki 55SR in citrus shad is the one crank I feel most confident in.
