  1. That is nasty. At first i was assuming it was the yellow parasitic worms, but then I saw it and almost puked.
  2. I'd love to have that canoe. It would be perfect in the Ozarks. Apologies, I didn't pay close enough attention.
  3. I would love to find a boat that long and barrow. Do you have pictures of it? Personally, a small jon is my dream vessel, with a trolling motor. I will toss it in the bed of the Ranger and fish I disagree off. I think, given your circumstances, a wide canoe like the new Wenonah Fisherman would work well or if a canoe is a non-starter, maybe a 1248 jon.
  4. I have one, a Premier PC60M that I have cut 3" off the handle. It's a sweet casting rod. Does anyone know when they started the Premier series of graphite rods.
  5. Hey all, I have a need for a 1" ID butt cap. I shortened a rod and need a cap. Anyone have a spare or a place to get one without an exorbitant shipping fee?
  6. I can't add anything to this post other than to say that I need to get out more apparently.
  7. Kuying? Where does one find their sticks?
  8. I've looked at Major Craft and don't see anything available in the US less than 6'4" long, but i haven't looked at their JDM options yet. Any suggestions?
  9. I have some 1/8oz baits I'd throw, but mostly a 1/16-1/8 head and a small plastic like a 2.8 Crazy Flapper or 3" Little Spider.
  10. Hey, I'm looking for something pretty specific. I want to find a 6 foot or under casting rod, M or ML, rated down to 1/8oz and affordable (preferred). I've tried longer ones but I'm not comfortable with rods over 6 feet long.
  11. I may stick with my Amp. It works for what I want, but feels odd with a 2500FJ on it.
  12. Right now, I have a couple cheap rods, Berkley Amp and Shimano Sojourn. Both are 6 foot. I want to upgrade.
  13. I love fishing creeks and rivers, often floating or wading. This, often, necessitates a short stick. What is your favorite, say, sub-6'6" rod?
  14. I have tried them as a swim jig trailer on a 1/4oz and they work okay. I have some nice 1/16 Fish Arrow J Heads that are going to be the cats meow. I should add that I just bought about 20 bags of these and ten bags of 3" Little Spiders. I love their baits.
  15. I'm a Revo guy. I've used Gen 3 reels but prefer the originals.
  16. I just ordered Hedgehog ZR bearings and Lightning Lube from Hedgehog Studio last night. The handle, I will find something to work shortly.
  17. The bait is just under 1/8oz. Got it. Thanks for the math lesson. I'm off for the Advil.
  18. 2 grams from 3/16? Oh Lord, quit making me think.
  19. I was just in the yard tossing it around on my Morrum 1600 and original model 5'6" Lightning Rod. I know the bait is 3/16 as sold.
  20. The reel is an Ambassadeur Morrum SX1600C Hi Sp and I'd like to upgrade my spool bearings to Abec 5 or 7 sealed bearings. I can cast 1/8oz as it is but i just want the smoother, faster upgraded bearings. What part numbers or bearing sizes am I looking for and a distributor.
  21. Does anyone have or know the weight of a Rapala SSR05 without split rings and hooks?
  22. I'm going to try it on my OLD 5'6" Lightning Rod today and see what I can cast with it.
  23. Any suggestions for a blank?
  24. Ok, allow me to preface this by saying that I am looking for a unicorn. I want to find a 5.5 to 6 foot casting rod ML or M power to slap a Morrum 1600 on. I want the rod to be light, rated down to at least 1/8 and be affordable, say sub-$100. Go.
