  1. Owner Twist Lock 1/8oz hook and to expose the hook.
  2. I love the Eco Pro as well as the RI Little Dipper.
  3. Catt, always the simple suggestions. If I'm doing this, it'd be a 6'6" MF spinning rod 9/10 times loaded with 15lb braid and a 6lb Hybrid leader. That will cover everything from light T-Rig, small jigheads and craws, soft swimbaits, walk the dog, light buzzbaits and spinnerbaits and even small squarebills in a pinch.
  4. Cabela's stocks Favorite. I've fondled them and they feel ok. Too gaudy looking for my taste to be honest. The lengths and actions are nice though. For reels, why look deeper than Kastking?
  5. I'd have to lean towards the Zoom Finesse Worms and Jackall Flick Shake 4.8. Both simply catch fish.
  6. I'm planning to pair one with a 7'3" MHF or HF. I haven't decided.
  7. Frog setup, go to a 9.3:1 Speed Demon. I am partial to 6.x:1 for cranks. For my spinning tackle, I like 6:1.
  8. I have Hedgehog Alchemy UL on the bench now.
  9. In these smaller lakes and ponds, it's sunfish and minnow species. I've had great luck on Keitechs Silver Flash Minnow and Bluegill Flash, but tire of the fragility and cost of these. The RI baits kick so much harder and I'm a sucker for them. I grabbed Sexy Shad as that was all Academy had on hand. They swim amazing, so I'm looking forward to fishing them more.
  10. I fished one for the first time this past weekend in the Dirty Sanchez color (I have one of these left) and just bought a bag of Sexy Shad. I'm curious what other colors I need to add. I primarily fish smaller city and state lakes, sub 100 acres, with clarity from 6 feet to nil. They'll be tossed on a VMC 3/0 HD swimbait 1_8oz hook so they're weedless and can still double as a trailer on a buzzer or what have you. Are there Any colors in particular that you'd grab?
  11. Dont anchor in swift current. It will swamp you quick.
  12. @rangerjockey the HiDef Craw is an amazing bait. A buddy of mine is a part owner of Tacklehd and honestly, I haven't seen a craw this realistic, ever. I fish craws almost exclusively for smallies in creeks. I am excited to get after them this coming week.
  13. Dock fishing and the first main depth change.
  14. I just put some 30 on my MH. I love it.
  15. Ill give Remembrance a try this spring.
  16. I love mine. It'll work well for a couple seasons and for the price, you can replace it.
  17. I didn't buy a single thing. Quite sad really. I miss the Zoom deal.
  18. Lake Remembrance, the one just north of 70? I've looked at it driving by a few times. May have to get out there this summer. I'm still looking for good water south of 470 towards Raymore and Belton.
  19. Man, I love the MLF format. I can't stand Howell. His Jesus schtick is too much. Favorites are probably Wheeler, Scanlon and Montgomery.
  20. Man, I'm reading these reports and wishing my days off coincided with decent weather. I've not caught a fish yet this year, but hope to remedy that in the next week or less. Keep posting fellas.
  21. I have some Hybrid for leaders. I'll use 30# KK braid on my M, 40 PP or Sufix 832 on my MH and 20 PP or Sufix 832 on my M spinning rod. I have Hybrid in 6, 8, 10 and 12 on hand.
  22. Kastking, Royale Legend or higher on a mid level rod, Vengeance, Vigilante, etc. Spool it with 15lb Big Game. Have fun.
  23. One of my favorite TV fishing hosts.
  24. Depending where you live, I have a sub 6' rod you'd enjoy and could save some $$ with. It's a Lew's TP1 5'9" "MH" but it's rated to 1/2oz, more of a M. It's a killer rod.
