I would say if the hook is up on the surface you're reeling to fast but if its just off to one side a little I wouldn't worry about it. When the bass want a buzzbait they'll get it.

woke up and checked the radar saw I had about a 2 hour window between the heavy rain so I headed out. Got 2 on a 1/4 oz. Black buzzbait with this one weighing in at 3-9.

Been a grind the last few weeks working hard for a hand full of keepers and dinks with a couple of maybe 3's in the mix. This week was a little better as I stuck a 5-1 Tues. On a weed demon and a3-3 pitching a jig into holes in weeds on thurs.

Uni for everything for me with the doubled uni for pitching and punching rig.

Easy answer for me. The buzzbait is the first horse out of the gate 99% of the time from the end of april til the end of october.

Tough week for me. Logged about 14 hrs. Between tues.weds. and thurs. For 14 fish. Best I could muster was this little humpback 3-5 on the double wide beaver

Got out Tues. And thurs. For about 5 hrs. Each day. Looking for frog bite but could only get a few to swipe or swat at them. Fell back on pitching again and got 1 decent one each day. 4-3 and 4-2 or vise versa can't remember.

More times than I could count. Mostly however when I alter my casting mechanics fishing from shore due to my surroundings.

Got out Tues. And today for about 5 hrs each day. Tues. Just pitched all day with a double wide beaver got 10 best at 3-8. Today tried to force a toad and buzz bait bite only managed a couple so back to pitching.only 2 bites but 1 came in at 5-2.

Since I don't own/use senkos turds or neds i figure everything i throw is unpopular.?

just get some worm rattles and insert them in the bait. Could probably put 2 or 3 in for more sound depending on length of the bait.

If you're finding fish on weed edges then you can probably find more and bigger fish buried up in the weeds. You should go in and pitch and punch them.
