  1. Replace.I always carry spare rivets and blades with me. I'll keep using a bait after one wire break but retire it after a second.
  2. The bass or his I.Q.?🙃
  3. I would say probably around 10% as well. The 2 tackle bags I drag around in my boat probably weigh 30+lbs. Combined yet when I pit them away for winter they're dwarfed by the amount of stuff I have in storage.most of which I may never use.
  4. Yup. waters getting cold and clear making their markings nice and vivid
  5. This 3 lb'er was the best of 3 jerkbait fish from shore after raking and bagging leaves. ( at 104 bags and counting, not done yet)
  6. Another 40ish minute bank session netted me a couple northern maine smallies
  7. @bishoptf not trying to be a crass but if 10-20$ is over budget you'd be best off just buying another new bait. I don't know of any penny candy type lure component stores. While I don't think L.p.o. has a min. Order amt. By the time you pay for blades and shipping your in for 10-12 bucks. @casts_by_fly at the end of every season my boat bottom is littered with burnt out blades and rivets. I always carry spare blades and rivets with me for swapping on the water. I would say if your not burning up blades and rivets your doing something wrong or you gotta buy better baits. Also the only time I break a wire on a buzzbait is from Bending it straight and back again from changing blades.
  8. Long time no post. @Swamp Girl was asking me the other day if I still fish? Yes I do just wasn't much up for posting for whatever reasons. Told her if I got into any good ones I'd post em. So this morning I bank fished before work for about 40 minutes in the rain and wind and got 2, a dinker and this one that weighed 5 even both on a jerkbait
  9. Check out Perkins custom upholstery in uxbridge ma. Don't know for sure if they do re-carpeting. But it won't cost anything to ask. Their website does say marine carpet repair.
  10. Lunkerville? Or something like that maybe?
  11. Lipless and any crankbait that runs deeper that a foot. right behind would be soft jerkbaits. They were once 1a with spinnerbaits in spring but somewhere along the way I stopped using them.
  12. Buzzbait Spinnerbait Double wide beaver, punch rigged
  13. Got this 4-9 today on a jerkbait.
  14. Another one.
  15. I'm never really gone. I just sometimes like to hang out under my 'lurker rock' for a while🙂
  16. Got out on the water fo the first two times this week. Tues. I caught 10 all on a spinnerbait. Mostly dinks but hafd 1 about 5.5 shake off but got a chunky short 3-2 about 5 minutes later fo the best of that day. Today(thurs.) I only managed to scrounge up 3 bites,1 on a bladed jig and 2 on a spinnerbait. With one of those the biggest weighing 5-2.
  17. I've got 2 slx that are about 6-7 years I think. 1 on my 'do-all' rod and the other on my punch rig which sees some pretty hard hooksets. Haven't had any issues with either one.
  18. Mustad grip pin 6/0 ewg
  19. We must be related somehow🤣. I have the same-as I call it- 'defective gene' I inherited from my mom where total strangers will seek us out to randomly chat.
  20. @woolleyfooley here ya go. One thing this pic doesn't really show is the difference in the "bulk" of the double wide.
  21. 3 non mainstream colors that worked for me this past season; brown bait watermelon spice liver.
  22. Lucky tackle? No. Shirts and hats definitely.
  23. Hey @A-Jay if you ever wanna go old-school let me know i've got this kicking around in the 'storeroom' (aka my closet)😁
