ECO pro tungsten? Small but heavy. Bought a couple last year and tried them. Seem good. Bought more for this season.

Miles don't seem that bad. I live in south eastern Michigan and have found most vehicles rust out before they wear out. I would look at the under carriage . Just drove my 99 jeep to the junkyard over 340,000 miles floor under seat rotted out and driver seat falling through. Currently driving a 97 with 300,000 back and forth to work now. Electronic displays and automatic features going out. I just drive it and till it rusts out too. drove my 92 chevy and 79 ford to the junkyard also with over 250,000 miles.

Have not used stren in many years . Seemed to have a lot of stretch when I did years ago? Started to use mcoy about five years ago . I have been very pleased and use this line and use it for most applications. You don't need line lube. Very limp if you use spinning tackle. Lines I have used over the years. Stren Trilene ,p line siliver thread,vicous and youzri. Mcoy is my favorite. Mcoy is very slick so make sure to make good knots. The only bad thing I can say about this line is that I have to buy it online and one thousand yard spools . You won't be disappointed with this line.

How about the sbr812 o813 spinnerbait rod? It is weighs less cost less then the others? This was my first loomis rod and still one of my most favorite rods. I have also used it for worms and jigs? I own a couple of glx,s and a nrx and this rod would be my first choice for that application? Just a point to ponder?

Sulfur water seems to be corrosive on copper pipes. Have seen it in a few areas near me.

I use a abu ltx reel with a ltb ml rod . I throw 1/8 with no problem. I have even used it trout fishing. I cannot say about the diawa,s but it does throw better then the 50 shimano in my opinion. Problems pricy and low line capacity But I like it.

Casting or spinning? If you have large hands the split grip on stcroix rods are too short on my casting rods. Spinning I don't see as it maters. My loomis and powell rods the handles are long enough in my opinion. I have had all my ltb rods converted to full grip for this reason. Just a point to ponder.

I have the ltb mlxf with a abu ltx reel. I use 8lb mcoy line and toss just as far as my other tackle. With a rod like that it worked okay but not great till I bought a finesse type baitcaster. Just a point to ponder. Have even fished for trout with this combo.

I am ready to scrap out my 99 jeep chrokee. Tires are about wore out , seat moves because left front mounting rusted out ,floorboard rusted and floormat hanging under vehicle. Plates expire in nov and it is gone? Have replaced starter alternator and radiator only major parts in all these years. Only has 343,000 miles Will start driving my 98 grand for work lot better shape and only 290,000 miles.

I live about halfway between the Dundee cabelas and the Rossford bps and on the weekend you cant go to the cabelas because of the amount of people. BPS not so much? BPS seems a little higher on price then cabelas on every day prices.

Have used vicious , ccx, yo-zuri , silver thread. All very good lines but mcoy is my favorite line. Seems like it is only sold online . Yozuri seems to underrate their line. Their 10lb would compare to most 12 to 15lb lines in diameter and strength.

I am a big fan of spinner baits also. Have you looked at the gloomis spinner bait rod? Very light very sensitive. About ten dollars over your budget? My first loomis rod and still one of my favorites .

Most of my rods are cork but I have no problem with EVA . What I do have a problem with are split grips that are too short and my hand lays off the grip. I had three rods converted to full grip because the grips are too short on one brand. Another brand their split grips are just fine.

I own the mhf ltb and I would rate that rod as closer to a heavy then a med-heavy. 3/8.s is the lightest I would throw with this rod. I own five stcroix ,s and think they are great rods but that rod is closer to my 4 power loomis then my threes?

Why do you need more room to cast with a casting reel then a spinning? I can throw a under handed cast easier with a casting reel then a spinning reel?

Not a spinning fan , but I have a 7ft premier ml and it has caught a ton of trout and quite a few bass on it . Pretty good all purpose rod.

Stcroix rods tend to class higher then others? I would say that a mh stcroix to be closer to most heavy then mh.

Caught a rainbow trout on one today? Bent it up a bit as it jumped up and left the water about three times. Bluegill color.

Pflueger Supreme at about one hundred dollars. I believe their is still a twenty dollar rebate on this reel? Alloy body very smooth. I do not think you will find anything better at that price.
