What do you use to tow your boat around? Check this one out...
This bad boy features: 3HP engine (hp stands for "human power") One wheel drive All sorts of saftey features such as water bottle holders Homemade trailer made from bike forkes nailed to 4x4s Aerodynamic canoe Vehicle has classic look without sacrificing performance 14 MPS (miles per premium sandwich) Plenty of space under canoe for rods, tents and passengers Ape-hanger handle bars for power steering 27" rims Amazing air ventilation Plenty of seats for the girls Being the larger vehicle makes the other folks on the road show some respect What it lacks: Any form of breaks Has turning radius and reaction time similar to freight train Unhealthy to operate going down hill Very healthy to operate going uphill Can take up to two lanes Sometimes when the cops tell you to pull over on the loudspeaker, you cant. Not partial to speed bumps Bringing some extra ratchet straps to hold everything together is recommended. And remember, Avoid Injury and Death (yes that is me in the picture and yes this rig is fully functional)

Deer Camp Video
So heres a video I put together of my families annual tradition, deer camp. Enjoy! In case you dont notice, a $50 walmart camera and youtube are not the best combinations for top notch video quality. :

Heres a picture for all the hunters...
He probably edited the photo using photoshop or a similar program. This is true. I sent it into Field and Stream, and if they put it in a magazine, I get a 99$ flashlight free!

Heres a picture for all the hunters...
Actually it was on my uncle's ranch in south Texas. If that was in NJ half that buck would be on my wall and the other half would be in the freezer.

Taken by yours truly. This buck lived on to grow another pair of antlers

First duck hunt, and first duck!
So today I finally got myself some steel shot at a reasonable price and decided to go duck hunting by myself. I loaded up the kayak with the deeks and some grub and my gun, and headed out of my backyard two miles upstream to my spot. I got in my duck blind that I built a few weeks in advance and seated myself down. After two hours of watching geese fly by, I was laying down in the blind, looking at the wild blue yonder and watching those little specks that float around on your eyeball. I couldn't see much of anything but I heard the fast sound of wings coming. Before I had time to think I heard some birds land in my decoys, only 30ft from me. I grabed my gun, jumped up, flicked the safty off, and popped up. I saw three ducks, wood ducks to be exact, and they saw me. They started to fly and just as they where leaving the water I let the one drake have it. The shot echoed across the lake several times and the bird went down. I was too exited to think about shooting one of the others. It flopped around for a seccond, then was still. I waited a minute than grabbed my kayak and went out and fetched it. Two ours later I came paddling home, happy as could be, with dinner below deck.

Poison Ivy...
When I was a young fellow I used to get poison ivy if I was 100 yards upwind of a plant (well maybe not that much.... but it seemed like that :) But over the years, although I was still exposed to it alot, the cases became fewer and farther between. Now I can walk though poison ivy without fear, although on great occasions I'll get some between my toes if I'm not wearing shoes. I wonder why this is? :-?

looking for a warm hunting hat?
Look no farther! http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0058430951490a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&sort=all&QueryText=bomber+hat&Ntk=Products&_D%3AhasJS=+&Go.y=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&%2Fcabelas%2Fcommerce%2FCabelasCatalogNumberFinder.giftCertificateURL=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Ftemplates%2Fgiftcertificate%2Fgiftcertificate.jsp%3Fid%3D0005586990011a%26podId%3D0005586%26catalogCode%3DIB%26navAction%3Djump%26indexId%3D&_D%3A%2Fcabelas%2Fcommerce%2FCabelasCatalogNumberFinder.giftCertificateURL=+&N=0&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&Go.x=0 I bought one of those last fall. It is the warmest thing I have ever worn. I biked 7 miles to school every morning (often before it was light outside) all winter long and never, even with 35mph headwinds, rain, and a wind chill of -7, was my head cold. Dont believe me? Read some of the many reviews. Everywhere I went people where like "nice hat" and such and they are extremely conferable. The rabbit fur beats the cheaper hats synthetic fur by a mile. It doesnt itch and is so soft. I also read that one guy as worn one for many years and it showed no wear. I was thinking of buying another one in blaze orange for hunting and saw that this particular model was on sale for $15!!!! Seriously buy one if you do ANY foul weather or cold hunting. These hats are worth every penny of $200 on a cold morning. My dad bought one after he saw how great it was and everyone who tried it on loved it. Highly recommended! BTW I'm in no way affiliated with anything. Just wanted to let you guys know and give you a major "heads" up!

A glimsp of what I did this summer
Haha actually the township was building a park in the lot next door and they had this massive canoe rack thing-a-ma-bob. We would lob softballs, rocks, pouches filled with steel and lead scraps, and other varius things at it. (while some body would stand on it and be the "enemy") After a few weeks that became borring so we built it into a bike trailer by attaching bike wheels on it, and towed it around behind the three person tandem bike. Now that got some stares, horn toots and thumbs up! (intill we blew a tire and had a major wreck on main street, which since then, we have referred to as "the great wreck of '08')

A glimsp of what I did this summer
Well thanks everyone. I am also glad I lived through the summer, although there where times when I was certain I was about to stop living. The program I used was Windows Movie Maker, but our version of it is defective. By "defective" I mean it stalls at its own will, wich usualy was every 5 minutes. I would have to save after every little change, then it would stall, then I'd Ctrl+Alt+Delete it, wait for it to go away, restart the program, and reload the video file. All that + Slow PC = Not fun. I started working on the video like half way through the summer and just finished it the other day. But, it was worth it.
