Which GoPro is best suited for my situation
I love fishing and want to start using a GoPro to make some fun videos. I plan on using some different attachments on my boat and using a chesty while I'm fishing the banks. I'm looking into buying a used GoPro. I never used one so I don't know which one I should go with. The hero 2 is super cheap but so it the quality. Should I bump up to a hero 3, if so which one? Or should I spend the most and opt for a hero 4? Thanks for your input.

Lake Placid, FL
Hello guys, I'm heading to lake placid for memorial weekend (26-29). I will be staying at an RV resort on Lake Grassy and the boat ramp for Lake Placid is right across the street! I have only been to Placid once, three years ago for tubing with the family, never fishing. I don't really have a clue what to do. I watched a couple Youtube vids and looks like most people fish deep ledges or brush piles. I didn't find any vids on Lake Grassy. Do you guys have any recommendations for what to look for (stay shallow or deep) and what baits to throw? Any help will be greatly appreciated, it's my pop's 50th and I want to take him out and put him on a couple fish. Also, do any of you know where I can get the fishing report for this area? And does lake Grassy have any decent fishing or should I just stay at Placid? Thanks in advance and tight lines

"Primitive" camping near Lake Istokpoga, Lake Placid?
I'm staying at camp Florida RV resort on Lake Grassy, it's $39 but I bring my RV and staying the weekend. That's going to be the average price. I don't know of any ramps up there with power. Sorry for not much help.

Pop's 50th birthday
Hey guys, it's the old man's 50th coming up and I wanted to take him somewhere fun to fish. We mainly fish the Everglades and Lake Okeechobee but wanted to take him somewhere fun and new. The two things he loves is RVing and Bass fishing. I was looking for an RV park somewhere here in Florida around north of Lake Okeechobee (lake Placid, Istokpoga, etc.). I want the park to be on the reservoir. I don't care if its a lake, river, etc. just somewhere where we can fish. We have a boat that I want to bring along. Thanks for any information.

Yup you are the one who taught me about that.

Which one is better for me
Ok thanks for the help

Launching and Retrieving
Get the boat straight then put it in neutral. The boat will pull the truck straight down the ramp. Also practice, practice and a little more practice helps a lot.

Which one is better for me
Sweet this would work. Do the older Terrovas have this? Thanks, it's definitely an option now.

Which one is better for me
So if I record a track on the terrova I can set it to follow that track again? I know about the cruise control which it might work. How would you record a track? Can I use my humminbird 898?

Which one is better for me
Yeah I think I'm going to go with a foot controlled unless I go on a buddy's with a wireless and I like it. Thanks for the input

Which one is better for me

Which one is better for me
Hello guys, last weekend my trolling motor shaft cracked. Good news is this gives me a reason to get a new one. I looking into buying a used trolling motor but don't know if I should go with a cable steer or a remote control. I only reason I though about remote control was I fish the Everglades and a lot of long stretched canals. Would a remote be able to keep me on the middle of the canal? Would I need Ipilot link? Thanks for the help

Okuma tcs 7' medium+
Hello guys, I'm looking at a tcs rod mentioned above. It's for sale locally for $50. It's a designed for crank/jerkbaits, since I live in south Florida I rarely throw those. I already own a couple tcs rods and love them, I was wondering how it feels throwing other lures on it. Thanks for the help.

Lake Okeechobe recently
Ok thanks for your help, my plan is Saturday morning fish small little openings on the rim canal until sun comes up. Then I will head to pelican bay on the rim canal then head to Rita island and fish all around that area. I should spend the whole day out there and if it's good I will fish there Sunday, if no luck then I will have to come up with a backup plan. Thanks for all the help and I will let you know how it goes.

Lake Okeechobe recently
Thanks for your patience, I got you now. Last question is how safe is running the lake from pelican bay? Also which way would be better for fishing? I might try both ways.
