  2. awesome man! congrats to you! 8-) Jason
  3. from what i've read, the eye "bulge" comes with age. as the bass gets older it's eyes bulge out more. Jason
  4. i'd use probably a black or black/blue chunk or trailer of some sort on there. The eakin's craws are great on their jigs. I usually hop my jigs, maybe pulling it 8" off the bottom, sometimes more if the bass say to do so. You can just pull them across the bottom also, or pitch them into some heavy stuff and yo-yo them. Pretty much endless techniques with jigs. Jason
  5. try them on a Carolina Rig. Jason
  6. I use a 4/0 on 6" worms...and step up to 7/0 on 10" worms. Jason
  7. beautiful bass!! keep at it! Jason
  8. Welcome!! and awesome fish! 8-) I would recommend the Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft in 6lb for your spinning set up and 12lb for your baitcasters. Jason
  9. Hey guys, got a new St. Croix Avid 6'6" Medium-Light / Fast action spinning rod to use for drop shot. What other applications could it be considered good enough for? Weightless soft plastics? Jason
  10. Went out to spend 4 days with my buddy and celebrate my 27th birthday in Johnstown, CO, 1 hr. north of Denver. It was sooooo nice all weekend! Mid 50's and into the 60's. We didn't do a whole lot, but that was just fine with me. Was my last chance to relax before the little one comes (wife is due in 1 month). Wish I could have had a chance to fish, but too much ice and not enough time. Will definitely go fishing next time. Maybe even head up into the mountains and try for some Rainbow's. It's really nice to be home, even though i have to head back to work tomorrow. Oh well, such is life. Glad to be back to the forums! Jason
