  1. I almost always throw a white/chartreuse spinnerbait with tandem blades. Reason being, most all the water i fish is pretty stained, so i think the colorado blade helps them locate and the chartreuse helps them to zero in on it. Jason
  2. i saw them at cabela's one day. Very interesting looking lures. Jason
  3. You looking for Baitcaster or Spinning? Jason
  4. Strike King Diamond Shad
  5. Plano Guide Series 7592 that holds my hard baits and wire baits. Older Browning soft bag that holds 4 3700 size boxes and 2 smaller boxes in the front pocket as well as 2 smaller side pockets. It holds all my soft plastics. The BASS bag holds my scents, towel, scale, tape measure, and other accessories. These things are completely full, so i need to find something else to fit all my extra stuff in as well as future purchases. Jason
  6. I use the Booyah also. Great spinnerbaits! Jason
  7. Only have once, and it wasn't music. I took a radio along to listen to the Husker Football Game. It wasn't on TV that day, so i headed to the pond and took the radio along. Was a great day for fishing and football. Jason
  8. I put it on my wifes spinning reel. (She picked it out because her name is Crystal ). I'll tell you first that it looks like dental floss. It's almost pure white. I don't know how it would work in clear water as all the water around here is stained. She loves it though. It casts very well on spinning gear. Never have any problems. Jason
  9. For me, it's been crank baits. Jason
  10. Rapala and Mann's for hard baits. Zoom for soft baits. Jason

  12. Welcome!! I agree with reading the beginners articles. They will help tremendously. Also, one of the best ways to learn is time spent on the water. Get out there and put what you read into real life situations. I'm sure you'll be rewarded greatly! Jason

  14. I really love the X-Rap, but maybe that's because i'm too cheap to buy the LC, Jason
  15. With out a lot of timber (exactly like my pond), what i like to do is to retrieve it along the edge of visible vegetation that is sticking out of the water or growing up to the surface. Jason
  16. i too have always used my right hand, then switched to my left hand to reel on the right hand side. I'm just starting to practice with my left hand, so i don't have to switch. Jason
  17. I don't think anyone is doubting your knowledge. I think it was more just the way you posted about that article. It just seemed to come out of no where, and from somebody that most of us had no idea who you are. No hard feelings from me personally 8-) Jason
