Kayaks
Went fishing early morning on the 4th and was fishing a point, was nailing some smallmouth bass off a point about 20 feet away from the shore line and this couple on these kayaks (not fishing) rows right through the middle of my boat and the shoreline, I was confused at first and wondering why they didn't just go around me. Anyways I got into it with them and said a few things I probably shouldn't have, but someone needs to right? Now I have no problem with kayakers and have met quite a few fisherman that have common courtesy, the problem I have is the younger 20's individuals that just go out to paddle around the lake.

Curado K vs Okuma Helios TCS
I have had a K for about two weeks now and its been excellent, I use mine for crankbaits and it casts medium sized cranks very well, its very smooth. I added ZPI spool bearings and two bearings to each knob, it cast just fine without the ZPI's though. Its no Metanium but it casts good

- The Best Glass Rod
Got the rod today, its pretty sweet and she has a nice thick rear end (the backbone is twice as thick as graphite) the build is excellent and the bend is incredible. I'm not sure what the weight is of the Dobyns Fury 705CB but the St-Croix feels lighter but it is a little tip heavy, I put a Curado K on the rod and it feels pretty d**n good. As for sensitivity, I haven't fished it yet but dragging the tip across my carpet feels the same as the Dobyns. I'm going fishing tomorrow and will report back on how it feels, Hopefully I can find some boiling wipers :big grin: I bet this rod can launch a 1/2oz lipless crankbait. A beautiful honey color.- Crankin Rod

Sounds like the orochi xx swingfire might be exactly what I'm looking for then if the flatside is a stiffer rod. Although I do throw a lot of LC LV 500's Right now I'm using the Dobyns fury 705 CB- Crankin Rod
What is your favorite crankbait rod? I'm looking for a new one. There is a few I been eyeing... Megabass Orochi XX flat side special St Croix Legend glass 7'2" medium (never tried all glass) Gloomis IMX Pro 843 CBR- Show off your Stuff
Curado K for cranking- Spinning reels without reverse
- Forgive me for doubting.
Buy a Shimano- RP Knott vs. Alberto Knot ?
FG knot, but if I'm in a hurry then I will use a alberto which is not very often. As for the tag end, I burn the excess braid with a bic.- Spinning vs casting for dropshot
I use both. I love my spinning rods and prefer them for drop shot, plus I get to the bottom faster when using spinning.- What's your favorite braid?
Pline TCB 8, fins 40g I have tried almost all of them and the two listed are currently my favorites.- Worm Gear Grease
Bantam oil is what I use. - The Best Glass Rod
