Kistler Medium lights are a lot lighter then most other medium lights, it would work excellent for Ned rigs. I also have a GLX 842 that is amazing but the Kistler is lighter in action.

I tried it today with 4 brakes on and set to 1, lets just say I lost a lot of distance. Switched back after 2 casts....

Why? 2 brakes on and set to 2 does excellent.

I like both but like how a full grip looks over a split grip.

I also upgraded brass in my Metaniums, I personally like the Metanium MGL as much as the Bantam. I put my Bantam on a NRX 843 and my Metanium on a NRX 852. Love both.. The Metanium will cast a little better then the Bantam but both cast amazing. I have both set the same, 2 brakes on and set to number 2 on the dial....

I lost a 5lb largemouth a couple days ago, I thought I had about a 3lb smallmouth until I got her up to the boat and she jumped and spit out my rig pound for pound smallmouth fight harder then largemouth. Here is a few pics.

My GLX 842 casting rod is super sensitive, it has that "it" factor, one of my favorite rods. I must be different then you guys, I love the reel seat and find it more comfortable then other rods.

I didn't notice much of a difference between casting distance with the Curado K and the Bantam MGL, but the Bantam feels smoother, more powerful and better in the hand, except on cold days...d**n this reel gets cold being a full metal jacket My Metanium MGL definitely will outcast the Bantam with less effort but the Bantam casts amazing.

Got it Added two bearings to the knobs, one bearing to the worm shaft and a Curado K 90mm handle with some technical knobs
