Keitech Swing Impact Fat storage?
I purchased some airtight sandwich Tupperware containers for my soft baits. Tubes, Keitechs, spark shad and senkos are kept in them. I have not noticed much color bleed ( and if I did I would not care, probably get some cool colors ) But the main thing is I have not noticed any deformation that would effect their action.

Understanding g loomis models
I know! And sadly for me those are the two main manufactures I use.

Understanding g loomis models
For the life of me I cant understand why Tackle warehouse willfully destroyed their rod sales with that new website. The fishing group I belong to up here have all switched over to ALF. They are awesome. super fast shipping, and easy to find rods. I still get tackle from TW but just in my household with a family of 5 bass fishermen we alone have purchased 4 new rods this spring that all would have gone to TW. Oh Well.

Hair jig rod
Megabass Flyssa.

the MegaBass rod warranty process and customer service.
Man that is great to hear. Ive got close to a dozen MB rods mostly destroyers and a couple orocchi's and today when setting up my rod locker I walked out of my shop swinging the door behind me, while carrying my flyssa. Stupid move. Broke the tip. What a moron. Havent broken a rod in ten years. Just contacted them about it. Save your receipts people!

I always hear people say that smallmouth will hit moving baits all the way down into the low 50s, but I have not found this to be the case at all
I find that when it comes to low temps and moving baits its all about WHAT moving baits. Griffon cranks, Okashira heads with small swimbaits, vision 110 jr, slow rolling jackhammers or spinner baits all work really well for me into the 40s. Top water is tougher, I have not had much luck with topwater smallie bite except mid summer, right before light. Then it cuts off for me. My rule of thumb is the colder it is, the smaller the bait, and slower retrieve..

Just ordered a new Megabass Orochi X
This.... Nowadays JDM destroyers are around orochi prices as well...Just got a z crank Elsiel for under $300 shipped.. I do like the orrochi line though. The enforcer and shakey head are both pretty darn good rods for the cost. Well made.

Braillist question
Everyone will have their opinion and no one is wrong. So with that said I own a Braillist and its a bit stout to go down to 1/4 inch jigs in my opinion. I think its sweet spot is the 1/2 to 1 ounce. Not sure about megabass alternatives, Im sure someone will chime in with an answer. I use a 872 nrx+ for the light stuff and leave the MB for the heavier.

Which Kayak Trailer?
I must have gotten the smaller Malones. Yea the 65mph is everything. And Im with you, loading or dragging is for the birds. My Jet ski trailer just finished and tested out this last weekend. Ended up welding pretty much everything, new wiring and lights, its barely the same trailer anymore but the it was a great project with my sons.

High end spinning rod
Wacky is pretty much my main technic.. Ive run a handful of rods in the past and a last year I got my hands on a Loomis 852 NRX+ Thing is awesome. Out side of cost of course but man can Loomis make a nice rod... Dont get me wrong, I am a Megabass fan as well. I have a nice destroyer collection going on now but nothing so far compares to the NRX+

Are Tubes Still a Thing?
To us smallmouth guys tubes are a real go to. Even more so nowadays since NED took over alot of my waters. Fish see something different. Ive found while we are all out throwing trd's and the bight is slow to switch over to a tube.

Rank the finesse techniques..

Which Kayak Trailer?
Ive been down this road a few times in my 18 years of yak bassin... Ive had a few different Malone trailers over the years, for the cost they are pretty good but felt to darn flimsy for me, and I like to be able to drive on highways faster than moped speeds. Then I went with a utility trailer that was a home made job, It was ok but looked like the beverly hillbillies going down the road. Finally I decided enough is enough, either splurge and get a OTW trailer or find the right platform for a custom build. Got a super cheap newer jet ski trailer and have been upgrading. New large tires and wheels, new axle, extended the tongue, had a welder build a second bunk above the first, steel tube bunks installed that we built. Should be totally done by mid April. Hope it does what I want it to do.

Want a new Dobyns Spinning rod. Which one?
For me the 703 champion is my all-time favorite Dobyns rod...
-
Liking the new Tackle Warehouse site now.
This. It's costing them money. My son and I both just purchased NRX+'s from TW's competitor since it was a pain to search through their rods. Pretty dumb.

Rank the finesse techniques..
For me, success wise its been in this order. Wacky rig Ned rig Paddle tail swimbaits tube drop shot

What pound test of Sufix 832 braid should I go with?
Another vote for 30. Best all around braid for me.

Wacky Worm
For me its my main confidence bait. But Im a serious line watcher so the faintest tick or movement get a set. Hook sets are free. Ive also found that a super lightweight set up ( NRX+ 852 paired with a 2500 Abu zenon with 10lb braid to 8lb flouro leader and size 2 dropshot hook ) I very rarely get them gut hooked.

A man's got to know his limitations. What are yours?
Ive found that my main limitation when it comes to fishing is I cant monetarily afford a NRX+ for every technic.
-
Do you have (fishing) acquaintances that are a one-way street?
Im a pretty avid fisherman and have been for many years. Yak bassin is my thing so anytime I can help someone with the limited knowledge Ive acquired I will. I don't give out too many of my spots unless Im taking you there though. Having lived in three states in the last 15 years, Im proud to say Ive without a doubt got a lot of friends into kayak bass fishing that weren't interested initially. I have a few back up boats just to take people out. Nothing is cooler than looking at a friends social media of him showing off his new finder, or new rod/reel while catching fish that when you met him didnt know a zebco33 from a Metanium. Now their wives are a different story. Before they starting hanging with me they had money! I love the community I have of bass fishermen, as long as they are good people, who care about the longevity of not only the sport but the water and fish we need I will always share what I can. Life is pretty short on this blue marble and Im a firm believer it would be a more enjoyable place if more people fished.

One of the best feelings in fishing
Thats awesome. Congrats!

Shimano spinning reel sizing help!!
I prefer 2500 or 3000. 2000 too small for me, and 4000 too large...
-
Would setting 1 of 4 centrifugal brakes on harm anything?
I run a couple reels with only one brake for a while now. But like already said I change it up to get even wear.

I have a rod/reel question…
I do some yak tourneys and even guide on occasion but I primarily fish for fun. Yak fisherman. Growing up in Germany we were always told that certain tools are for certain jobs so that mentality as I grew older stuck with me. One set up for one technic. Period. Im not the guy who uses a rod for 4 different technics. So with that said Ive got 8 spinning rods, and 6 bait casters. But I usually only take 6-8 with me a day depending on what I will need due to location and weather. Spinning-Wacky senko, shakey head, dropshot, ned rig, spy bait, tube, Jerkbait, fluke. Casting- Crankbait, chatter bait, Jig, topwater, Frog, swimbait

Albright Knot Fails?!!
This. I use the mod Albright on everything I use pretty much, extremely rare to have failures.
