1. Good couple weeks of smallie fishing...PB was caught. That and some 4's and 5's All on senko... This was my 6.9 https://i.ibb.co/XjN3yBp/8-C988-EA0-4-A43-4710-8-BD6-A71-AB9901492.jpg http://
2. The NRX 852s is my go to senko rod. Its so light, so sensitive and strong. I spend alot of time throwing wacky rigs and have yet to find a rod better.
3. Very nice! Beautiful fish. Gotta love PB trips. Just buzzing all week afterwards...
4. Been bass fishing for close to 30 years. In the past 5 years Ive decided to start seriously upgrading my rods and reels. Nowdays the deck of my boat has NRX+ and megabass stuff. But no matter how much I spend to get the best rods I cant get rid of my 702sf, and 765c Dobyns Champions. Half the cost but they produce, and do exactly what I use them for. Dobyns makes some great products.
5. 1/0 Gamakatsu hook, Megabass Kirisami/stragic 2500 for heavy cover, NRX 852s/Stragic 2500 for most everything else.
6. Ive been looking at one for weightless senko work. I fish rock piles and alot of drop offs for smallmouth anywhere between 5 and 20ft. Using a Dobyns 703sf but it really lacks the sensitivity. I own a few p5 MB rods and really like them but finding real world reviews is hard to impossible. Figured Id ask here and see if I got lucky. Thank you.
7. Ive used wacky rig senko's for largemouth for more time than I can admit to. Last three years Ive been solely chasing smallies. My main lake has been Ned, Drop shot, small swimbaits like dark sleepers and shakey head. They have produced great fish. But this year I broke out the ole Senko rod, and went to wacky rig even though many of the old timers up here say they dont work as well. I log all my fishing days and so far this year I have exceeded in numbers and in weight easily. I caught one 5lb fish last year on a shakey head, so far this year on a wacky senko Ive got half a dozen 5s, and a 6.4. Love senko fishing. Its an excellent way to hunt brown backs! This morning. 5.4lb https://i.ibb.co/HC054P7/IMG-0455.jpg
8. Ive been using a Tbone since 2016. Kick butt product!
9. Wow, Thanks! Great help and some interesting info!
10. So going through my collection of rods I found a G loomis 822s SHR. It has no series markings and for the life of me I cant remember where I got it. I guess thats the problem with collecting tackle for 30 years. Is this considered a bronze back? Anyone know anything about it? Was thinking a weightless senko rod for my son. Already have a few Shakey head rods that I love. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
11. Yea we had TWO fly fishing anglers die last summer here in a slow moving stream due to waders. Husband slipped and went under, wife went after him. Both drowned.
12. I prefer the Megabass Ronin with 20lb braid, 8lb leader. Vanford 2000 reel and I really like the Vision 110
13. Ive used the 30lb mossy green spider wire for years and years. I really like it. Great for frogs and other top water and reaction baits that I throw into cover. Cant say Ive had wind knot issues and the stuff holds up.
14. G Loomis IMX pro NRR with a shimano stradic 2500...
15. I chase smallies multiple times a week up here in Northern Idaho and I think this is the best video Ive seen in a hot minute about fishing for them...
16. Yup, same here. I just use my electronics to see structure, temps, depth and so forth. Smallies in my area move far to much many times during the year to be pinpointed and watched.
17. Cashion. Amazing frog rods.
18. Ive got a revo thats doing the same. But Im slowly upgrading them as they start to fail. Needless to say Im not replacing them with more Abu stuff.
19. I own one. I too was on the fence about them. I really like the destroyer though so I figured Id at least try it out. It really shines with 3/8 and up jigs, dark sleepers, and bottom cruising swimbaits. I love mine alot..
20. Ive wanted to try one for a while. I still run a handful of Revo Rockets bait casters and love em.

Ive built three in the last few years. Assembled might be a better term actually but only my CMMG banshee 300/SBR runs perfectly with a Rugged suppressor. Amazingly fun guns to shoot.
22. Did 3 gun for years as well as long range rifle but these days I just do more combat/duty courses competing for time within my agency and state.
23. I carry pretty much everywhere I go. So my CCW goes in my yak attack blackbox
