  1. Those flutter wings look cool...wonder if they actually work.
  2. I'm just curious what are the differences between the new Curado MGL 150 and the current model JDM Scorpion MGL (which is also a 150 size)? I know you can get the Scorpion on Asian Portal Fishing for $156 U.S. dollars shipped to your door.
  3. I'll definitely try them...I LOVE frog fishing! Doesn't say when they will be available though does it?
  4. Should it be a Moderate, Moderate-Fast, Fast or Extra-Fast taper?
  5. I'm looking to be a bit more flexible and be able to throw 1/4oz and 1/2oz from smaller creature baits to 10"+ big worms. I know ideally those would require two separate rods but I'm trying to find a rod that could do both.
  6. Would a Dobyns Fury 765 Flip work for t-rigs?
  7. Looking for opinions on the best t-rig rod for right around $100. I've been watching a lot of videos on this matter and am leaning towards a MH or H rod in the 7'3" to 7'6" length but I could be swayed smaller.
  8. Dirty Jigs Tour Level Finesse Football Jig! Great jigs with a ton of different color combinations. Don't break the bank at $4.99 either.
  9. I've been tempted but where I live there's far too many toothy critters to throw in a gold nugget like a Vision 110! I stick to Spro McStick 110's or Jackall Rerange (when I can get them on sale for like $13 each), I would hate to lose either of them too but it would hurt far less than a $25 Vision 110. I have also heard that Vision's aren't durable and have a bill breaking issue and then there are those who say you'll need to change out their hooks to Owner or Mustad or Gamakatsu...are you freaking kidding me...a $25 bait comes with garbage hooks, no thank you! I also don't see the logic behind buying a bait so expensive you're afraid to throw it...just save your money if that's the case unless you're a collector and the bait is being bought for collection/display purposes only.
  10. It’s mostly the action of the bait that gets the fish to strike anyways…color is a secondary trigger.
  11. Dude, people catch giants with bubble gum pink senkos…I’ve never seen any bright pink worms…have you? ?
  12. Oh yeah, Dark Sleeper looks way better I was just generalizing that it's roughly the same size, shape and weight.
  13. Berkley Powerbait Agent E is a Dark Sleeper clone. Will be interesting to see how it compares since usually Berkley competes with a much lower price tag but the Dark Sleeper is already very reasonably priced...they must be banking A LOT on it being infused with Powerbait helping it catch more fish.
  14. The Berkley Powerbait jigs and swim jigs with the Powerbait infused skirts look great!
  15. On their front page sale ad it says "normal exclusions apply" which of course includes Megabass etc.
  16. I saw one once on a Tactical Bassin' video that Tim Little had and it looked like a round yellow pencil style but he put the hook edge in the top and twisted the sharpener around almost like he was sharpening a pencil. I have searched and searched for that as I thought that was the best looking sharpener yet but I have never been able to find one .
  17. Brett is actually my oldest sons name but regardless you’re welcome, glad you could take advantage ?!
  18. Not sure if this is the right spot or not so mods feel free to move to the correct forum if necessary. I was just cruising online and found that Swimbaitcity.com has Shellcracker G2's in stock. White, Black, Bright Bluegill and Ghost Gill colors.
  19. I just got some of the Beast Coast Perfect Punch rigs to try out. They look sweet, can’t wait to try it out! I’m going to try Sweet Beaver, Creature Hawg, Vile Craw and BFE.
  20. I just bought some in the Natural Shad color at my Walmart for $6.56 .
  21. If you go to Tacklewarehouse right now and search for Dirty Jigs Tour Level Pitchin' Jig and scroll down until you find the color called Super Matt Brown that would be perfect for this color scheme as it's mostly brown with some purple mixed in.
  22. Yup, me too! Every once in a while they'll have a killer deal on a legit brand name but it's usually not very well advertised and by the time you hear about it and rush to check it out they're sold out.
  23. Spooks (Zara's work nice), poppers, FROGS (hollow body), buzz baits, rat wake baits (Spro are good), Whopper Plopper's of different sizes (they make a 60 up to a 190...all depends on what your rod/reel setup can handle). That should have you headed in the right direction!!!
  24. These look like they'd be good drop shot baits...what's the concensus?
