  1. I have both Booyah and Live Target. No doubt about it the Live Target frogs LOOK like real frogs...certainly much more than the Booyah. That being said I haven't noticed a terribly huge difference in them good or bad. It's all what you have confidence in, to me the more realistic you can get the better (or at least that's how i justify to myself...other people will think differently). I actually just got a couple of the Booyah Toadrunner's. It's still too cold up here in Vermont to go fishing for bass but i can't wait to try these out and at $10 each they are more economical than the Sprinker frog at $15 each. These will be my weedless Whopper Ploppers .
  2. Check your local Wal-Mart for these on clearance, I just picked up 3 of the Lightning Rod Shocks for $9 each...not a bad deal for a $40 rod!!!
  3. Is it the Spartacus Maximus? If so that's their top of the line reel. It has a 25lbs. drag...should be able to pull a donkey out of the weeds with that . Should be good for flippin' and pitchin', jerkbaits, crankbaits, jigs. If you get one make sure to give us a review after you've put er' through the paces!!!
  4. Not sure if every Walmart has them at this price. Oddly enough the spinning version of these rods are still at the $39.96 price.
  5. Yeah, the color isn't something I'm overly fond of but I don't hate it either and for $9 I can certainly live with it as long as the rod performs well.
  6. Okay, so I picked up a few of these from my local Wal-Mart because they were on clearance for $9. I have a 7ft. MH, 6'6" MH and a 6'6" M. Do these rods run true to their power? Higher? Lower? What techniques would each of these rods be best suited for?
  7. Okay, for those of you who have these already and are lucky enough to live in the south where you don't have to worry about iced over ponds/lakes this time of year and have had some time to fish it what do you think? Is it better/worse/same as the Teckel Sprinker frog? Does the adjustable tail actually work or is it just a gimmick?
  8. Are these any good? I mean I realize they aren't Owner or Gamakatsu quality but how far away from that are they? Is it worth it to replace stock hooks on cranks, jerks, etc. with these or just save up for the Owners or the Gammy's (the Eagle Claws are readily available at my local Wal-Mart which is a plus)?
  9. They're normally $70.
  10. Yup, I have some Mend It :).
  11. I would like to get some more of the Keitech Swing Impact FAT baits and use an Owner Flashy Swimmer hook with them and try different sizes like the 3.3" and the 3.8" but they are darned expensive and if you find them someplace a little cheaper the shipping costs kill you. Is there a cheaper alternative that is of comparable quality?
  12. My Paypal transaction didn't even go through to begin with so i called eBay to find out what happened and they said the seller was having trouble with their Paypal account. I explained that this deal sounded to good to be true and the eBay representative dug a little deeper for me and found that the auction had been yanked and was under investigation for being fraudulent.
  13. SCAM!!! My Payment wouldn't go through so I called eBay and spoke to them about it and they checked and could tell that the listing has already been removed. Well, at least we know eBay has your back!!!
  14. I just pulled the trigger too! If it's fake I trust eBay and PayPal will have me covered and if it's the real deal...wow, what a deal it is!!!
  15. I know these are new but there must be someone who has them now and has tried them out?
  16. They've sold 6 in the past couple of hours so people are buying them...man, seems too good to be true and you know what happens when that type of deal is available...it usually IS too good to be true but with it being on eBay they will cover you should the item not be as advertised.
  17. They are listed as Brand New 2016 models so maybe they are holdovers from a couple years ago...still a heck of a deal!!!
  18. Yeah I know that...I was just kidding!
  19. Really? That would suck. You would think they'd do 15% because taxes are due on April 15th.
  20. I'm holding off for now!
  21. Looking for those who own this bait themselves. Does this lipless do better being bounced off the bottom or being ticked across the top of grass? Does it stand on it's head when it comes to rest on the bottom or does it stay on it's side and fall over like most lipless do?
  22. I'm sure like everything they both have their place but in your opinion which is better/most versatile...regular or crazy legs?
  23. Okay, so Dick's Sporting Goods has a really good deal going on with Berkley Chigger Craws (and other power bait stuff)...buy 4 packs for $14 with a $10 mail in rebate. I have no experience with Chigger Craws though...what's their action like? Are they durable (or is Mend It your friend with these)? Are they better texas rigged or as a jig trailer? They come in 3" and 4" sizes...which size is best for specific applications? I'm basically trying to justify even MORE plastics to be added to my arsenal...lol.
  24. Not just Power Worms, they have the same deal going on Chigger Craws too.
  25. eBay regularly runs 20% off deals with coupon codes. Sometimes it's site-wide while others there are specific vendors who participate. This time the code is "PRETTYDAY" but only select vendors are participating but luckily one of them is American Legacy Fishing :).
