  1. Couldn't resist the monkey could ya'...lol. I'll accept partial blame for the Curado K but the Fuego is all on you pal .
  2. I've had a decent amount of luck with the Spro size 30 rat (1/2oz.) so that get's my vote!
  3. I've been torn with this too but after watching a video by Tactical Bassin about these exact lures Matt Allen steered me towards the Z-Man Custom Chatterbait (TW exclusive) for like $6.99 each. While he definitely lauded the Jackhammer he said in his opinion the best bang for your buck is the Custom so I just ordered 3 of those .
  4. Yes, it's one of the standard sizes.
  5. DO IT!!! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!
  6. You uttered the dreaded "Game Changer" and therefore must be flogged 10 times
  7. American Legacy Fishing
  8. Sent you a PM.
  9. Maybe a little dollop of marine putty?
  10. Yeah, I think you need to use something that fuse the plastic on a molecular level and not just add crust over the rip...sort of like the difference between putting a band-aid on a cut and actually stitching it up .
  11. I wonder if Mend It would work better since it fuses the plastic instead of just gluing it?
  12. I have no experience with the Savage Gear rat but I do have a couple of the Spro's and love them...very good producers!
  13. I would explain just that to Booyah! Say look, I've shown you pictures, I only paid $8 for this bait and you want me to spend ANOTHER $4 to ship it back to you. I don't think that's reasonable and if you don't replace this bait free of charge i will just go buy a Teckel Sprinker and never purchase a Booyah bait again. See what they say to that!
  14. The eBay code PRIMO works as well for 20% off from select vendors. I just checked and you can get a Curado K for $110.99 using that promo code.
  15. Well, the Live Target Craw lure looks cool :).
  16. Maybe not new and innovative but I like Berkley's slew of new baits...especially the top water as they have similar designs to some of the most popular current lures for about half-price and if they perform just as good that will be a HUGE cost savings for a lot of anglers!
  17. Okay, so we'd like to go fishing one morning this weekend. The weather report is as follows: Saturday - cloudy with temps in the mid 60's, chance for an occasional shower. Sunday - partly cloudy to mostly sunny with temps in the upper 60's/low 70's. 1st, which morning would you prefer and 2nd what types of baits and 3rd what color schemes would you use? This is a smaller pond, about 30ft. deep in the middle but predominantly shallow like from 2ft. - 12ft., it is essentially two small ponds connected by a long, narrow canal. It is also strictly a warm-water fishery, holding pickerel, largemouth bass, yellow perch and sunfish. The main body of water is ringed with lily pads and cattails and a ton of other vegetation, the water is pretty clear. Let's call the water temp 70 degrees...give or take a couple of degrees.
  18. I honestly don't see how the tatula 100 could beat out the Curado 150 DC for best reel...that Curado is going to be amazing and retailers are going to have a very hard time keeping them in stock as well as Shimano will to keep production coming close to matching the demand!
  19. Yup, they just called and I decided on the 7'1" MH/MF for my wife. She has some trouble on hook-sets anyway so figured the moderate fast might be a little more forgiving for her.
  20. Do NOT fish a line through in weedy ponds/lakes unless you want to pull up a couple pounds of vegetation!
  21. Nope, not too late. They should get the rod I sent back today and i expect a call asking what model rod I would like in return. What about glide baits like the S-Waver?
  22. Anyone have other thoughts on this?
  23. Can still get a Curado K for $117 TYD.
  24. I ordered these Pitbull cutters and I haven't had ANYTHING that cuts braid as cleanly and evenly as these babies and you can easily do it one-handed too...check them out! https://www.pitbulltackle.com/Pitbull-Tackle-Cutter-p/r-pitbullcutter.htm
